which type of tip do you need ? trading depends upon your knowledge about the market. note this famous line- "buy low, sell high". trading is not so easy so it will take some time for you to become expert in it. also there are no other tips for trading.

edit: also best altcoin to invest
etherum is the latest trending altcoin. btw, if you ask me personally, i would suggest you to invest only in bitcoins because these altcoins are not as promising as bitcoin. btw, thats just my opinion.

don't trust anybody who tells you to buy something, especially if you find it on the forum that some random user is advertising a coin is good.

take the advice but investigate yourself, go to their topic and see if it is really good.

Quote
edit: also best altcoin to invest

nothing good will ever come out of this question :D

but for now i am watching ETC for short term investment which is super duper uber risky.
and also investing some in LISK for a longer term investment.

and as always the first and only coin that i keep is BTC

best advice I can give you is to start small, don't go all in with all you have. just invest what you can afford to lose, then learn on the job while taking small risks and even if you lose you only learn from your mistakes and move forward with your trading.

also try to hang around in altcoin boards and read different opinions but don't act on everything you read because a lot of them are total crap.

I was loosing 2 months to start winning now. When i think now about what i did 2 months ago, it's a complete disaster.

So my tip would be, trade with imaginary money but act like it's real money. When you learn enough and when you see that you're doing good start using real money. You will save a lot of money this way, i wish i have done it that way.

I will give you one enough tip : depend on yourself and don't expect any one to give you his trading strategy.
In regards to the best coins to trade , ETC and LIR are new coins with big daily trading volumes , I am trading these two coins now , LIR will rise up in the next week because new updates will be announced soon . Best of luck .

Starting with low amount because you're a new player in the world of trading and cause of that you no need to spend a much of your fund in trading before you having a more experienced in them, and with low amount you can start to learning and gather some information about trading, but for choosing best altcoin better for you to visit the exchange site and seeing the volume of the alt and how many users is using them to trading because the alt coin who having a lot of users is will have a good future for next time, i sure about that.

Patience is the main key in trading , and dont be a day trader means if what price coin you bought just read the market and settle it whether you are in profit or loss high or low, as in Altcoin trading dont love any coins because then it will become your wife. ( I think you will understand what am i want to tell) what ever profit less or more just sell and be in clear or atleast clear your investment and keep profit in coins.

I just wanna share my experience, before you trade cryptos coins you must understand about analysis tecnical, system trading (management margin and risk, time to entry and exit market) and psicology trading. Make sure you understand minimal about analysis tecnical. And for altcoins if you have much capital you can trade ethereum(ETH) but if you just have little capital you can trade ethereum classic (ETC).

I suggest that you wait for a dip in price before you buy. Then you can expect a increase relatively soon. Also, don't try to get a big profit if you are going to make a lot of trades. Just take a profit and wait for another drop in price.

If you are new in trading you should not ask for simple tips to start your trading career. This involves a more serious process and it would be better for you looking for learning materials to learn the basics of trading step by step. But you also will need a lot of patience to gradually acquire these basic knowledge without despair.

I don't think it is a good think to wait for price dip because no one knows how much the price will go down or high to start investing. So one can start accumulation in small quantities from now to get a good best average price.

If you're a new to bitcoins, then don't immediately start altcoins trading instead just start with buy and sell only bitcoins and learn some knowledge first how this system works.

I disagree also for thay thoughs to wait those dips its because some other coin that go dump deeper will canot gain back its original pric and that what we called shit coins and if youd really buy that theirs a big possibilities for us to lose money if the price and volume will became 1 or even 0 so thats why its better for new ones just to monitor the one coin they desired to trades and look after another if they can get more ideas if they master the trade.

To learn from trading start with small amount to earn some knowledge to what coin is better than other coin. Atleast if you failed for it it's only small amount and its easy to recover, I recommend xaurum Rico for long term trading and I think this coin had a potential than others but you can find many other altcoin in exchanger and do not be scared buying it if you that's coin had a potential.

When it comes to trading, you must consider these things before starting to trade real BTC, otherwise. Loosing your bitcoins may occur.

1. Capital- You must consider the capital first when trading. How much will you invest? Tip: Only invest what you can afford to lose. Putting your money in trading is optional and is only based on your own preference. But, the higher the capital, the higher the profit.
2. Discipline- Emotions should put aside if you want to start trading, because pro traders uses this to have an advantages to newbies, so make sure you have the guts when it comes to trading. Also, Patience is needed, some coins need some time before it pumps so watch out for it.
3. Mindset- your goal is to gain profit, no matter what. So, you need to stick wih your plans. Do not go with the flow, as everyone is just fooling you for them to control the price in the market.
4. Choose the Correct Coin to Trade- It is very important to you to know if the coin is legit or it is a scam coin. Many are loosing their money to those scam coins. Make sure you research first the coin before investing on it.

Those are just some of the tips, there are many more but the rest is up to you to learn when you start trading. I hope that helps, sorry I can't provide detailed one.

Now, when it comes to Alt Coin to trade, I think DRACO will do because the dev. is doing all his effort to make the price of the coin good.

little tips from me when in trade, the most important thing is patience, and not too greedy. when you buy coins, then you do not wait the price is too high, because it will not teercapai then prices fell back and you get stuck (loss).
I often experienced this, so when you've got a considerable profit, it is better to immediately sell.

It is excellent point one need to remember if you want to make some money from trading. I always do same and sell when I reach my profit range around 20% and will start buying again when it goes down to 10%. But I also keep some coins for longer-term appreciation. It is not a very easy to make profits always from trading and it quite risky so trade carefully and never borrow money to trade.

I think you should have  to invest in LIR, it is a good altcoin and with that you will earn a bigger profit in the coming weeks, the price of it is now much better to buy as much as possible and it has the potential to increase more than 3X.

One simple line you always have to keep in mind " don't buy anything at peak price when they are pumping hard, don't sell your holdings being panic when it get dumped in short period of time".

And also top of it don't buy and get stucked holding shitcoins which usually don't have any good daily volume.

Try to invest in LIR and FRWC, I am suggesting you that two altcoins as I am now working with these both altcoins and there I am earning a bigger profit, but stay alert sometime the price go too much down do not worry about that but try to buy more at that time.

Adopt any exchange which you like most for your exchange of your money and where you sell easy, and try to search about all the coins and keep your eyes on the trade and try to select a coin for you which you will know that it have good volume of sale and have bigger fluctuations.

Sites like bitmex with a 100x leverage offers trading from as little as 50,000 satoshi, this may be a good way for you to get into trading initially. Sites like yobit.net and poloniex offer altcoin trading, as for the best coin I wouldn't know, I tend to stay away from altcoin trading.

Observe the market first, take your time, often check various news around the internet to see is there some connection between price movement and some news. Also before you start to trade with your money, try to do it on paper. Choose a coin and wrote down price of coin on paper and how much you planed to invest, with other information about coin, when you think it will rise, for day, two, month, year..
Nobody can teach you how to trade, you need to learn it yourself. If you wish to earn a lot from trading think about paying someone to teach you about it. Or you can have fun like I do, go for the feeling, and after reading comments here about some coin I buy some little amounts.

Don't ask from random people to suggest you altcoins to invest, almost every opinion here is biased and everyone will try to speculate the coin he has invested.Spend some time and do your own research, this way you will learn how to trade by yourself and you won't depend on other's suggestions in the future.

1) Follow Market and never against Market
2) Trade only Crypto that have high trading volume
3) After a loss ( you will have some loss, all traders have loss, me too) don't try to recover it in fast time, but take some time to think about.
4) After a win ( you will have win, all traders have win, me too :) ) move not less than 60% of profit out of trading: this is money management!
5) Before Start Trade fix stop loss and take profit
6) Never move stop loss

-Do you have a degree in commerce ?
[jokes apart]

Although no degree or formal education is needed to start trading but some basic knowledge of the market is always useful.Stuff like 'margins','break-even',etc I have only seen people who're good at share markets equally better at bitcoin trading. That could be totally subjective though!
-Stop investing in markerts before you study about them.
-Invest only what you can afford to loose.
-Understand statistics and graph charts.
About altcoins : let's not talk about them right now.

As a person that has done trading before, earned some money, and lost some, this is my advice to you. Always do a research first about the current state of an alt coin. Sometimes it's not just a basic supply and demand that makes the market move. Sometimes it's because the project of the coin has been dumped by the developer.

After finding the thread of the alt coin you want to invest in, check their future projects and see if you think their coin has potential to grow. Always check the thread regularly for updates, in that way, you can predict if the coin will shoot up in the future.

YES and I'd like to add a few more.
-Always check if the ICO is backed up by the trusted escrow
-Only invest after the coin is accepted in one of the top 5 leading exchanges.
-Check if the devs are keeping record of all the coins spent in pre distribution phase.
-Never invest in the primitive stages of an ICO.

My tip is to not trust the people of trollbox. They are just trying to pump the coin that they invested in by trying to advertise the name in the troll box. Another thing is to remember the saying "Don't put all your eggs in one basket." If you have 1 BTC, don't invest it all in one alt coin. There are tons of altcoins out there. You might wanna check their thread in this forum first before you invest on it, most of them has a thread here.

Another thing, you could also try trading in groups. If you have friends that do altcoin as well, you might want to do it with them. There's a lot of things you could learn from other people's experiences.

if you are new, it is difficult to explain the trade. because trading full research. perhaps better, read about the trade, so that you understand the basics of the trade. If you are confused in choosing a coin. You can find information about coins, or look at a coin which has the largest volume.

The best and more popular altcoin currently are ethereum and ethereum classic which can be found on poloniex and have a large volume trading(they stay most of the time on top of the popular coin list). What you should consider before taking action and purchase altcoin is to check how often and when the price goes up and down, check the exchange price maybe you can make a faster profit by moving from an exchange to another one.

Personally, the place where I do most of my research would have to be places such as CoinCap.io and all of the forums in which the coins that you are investing in reside.

Don't join in on the pumps and dumps, could make a ton of could lose it all

Better to make a lean 2% then lose a FUCKING TERRIBLE %100

I don’t have much knowledge about altcoins but I have some experience with investment and I would like to recommend you few tips to implement while trading (of course I learned it from this great community & my experience).

This is from warren buffet, his first rule of investment is ‘Never lose your capital’ and his second rule is ‘Never
forget rule no 1’. Well that means don’t stake your whole capital at one place which you can’t afford to lose.

Second one, If you want to invest $1 money then invest $100 worth of time before investing your $1. You will always have good potential while investing $101 th dollar.

Third, Always research before investing (that’s similar to #2) further don’t trust on anyone (especially if it’s free).

What I did was to go to coinmarketcap.com to type out about 600+ coins in a tabular form. Every day their prices will be recorded.
This is how I can keep track of coins that are being pumped at the moment, so I can get on the bus fast and sell before dumping begins.

I think for new people who just want to start trading then they should first start to buy bitcoin at a lower price and try to sell for higher price instead straightway jump into altcoin trading. Because altcoin trading needs a quite lot of knowledge of all altcoins before investing. I agree that one must be watching all price movements after the trade placed otherwise may miss the opportunity of earning profits.

The best tip for you is that do not invest your capital in trading as you are new to this field, just separate a minimum amount of your capital and do sell and buy with that and try to increase that amount on any exchange where you want to start trade, and when you notice that now you are in a position that you do not lose any amount there then you will be in a position that you can start trade in full.

I agree that you should not trade in full if you do not have any experience yet in it. Yes there are others who became millionaires in trading but I believe that they did it because of years of experience and hard work. They already have a feel of the market and already have a speculation of when the buyers or sellers will act and where the market will go.Experience, research and trading psychology is needed to be a successful trader. You can see if you already have the trading skills by your performance and if you are consistently earning profit. When this time comes then may be you can invest higher capital to earn bigger profit.

I like this tip, the only think I would like to add is to never be greedy. You will see the term a lot of times here and in the trading world.
Many investors are too greedy and wait too long to either buy or sell.

I was one of them...

Because the panic sell and no one buy that coins while the price hits a ground and becoming a dead coins
Also the dev dump hard their coins cuz achieved their goals for run away our money , and also the bad community the coins has in network.
But , you can still hold that coin . Who knows a good dev can making those coins good again.

Though I seldom trade bitcon - dollar pair but I know it is very profitable and you do not need to convert bitcoin  like in altcoins case. But since I diversity my trade, there are also alcoins which is good and with real backers. But as what @garundang said, I would say also that just be carefull when choosing altcoins.

i think for beginner it is better to trade bitcoin with alt coins, because you can learn more by trading alt coin and you have more option to trade and beside of that, it is cheaper to trade alt coin rather than exchange to fiat, when i was start trading, i trade bitcoin with alt coin, one thing that i learned is you need to be patience to earn from trading and you really need to see the news everyday, most of the time i lost money from trading is because panic selling when i see the price is dropping, so in order to start trading you need patience, knowledge and self control

Yes, it really happens and it is a great risk that we have to anticipate. Some I was forced sell at low price just to convert it back to bitcoin as the devs have already abandoned the coin. Sometimes its a sad case already if the exchanges give a notice of delisting.

Thats the saddest part when you are still trying to hold hoping that the coin can make a rebound but in the other way its been delisted and every investment that you place has been completely burned so its really important to study first before you enter the trading business.

No kraken platform is not any alien thing, if you spend time to check their features you can easily get adopted to them. Because, preparing a complete tutorial might take long time. You can ask questions here at which point you are facing any difficulties, then people will come with your required solutions.

Recently I sold my ICN tokens there. That was my first time in kraken. I just registered an account and did everything smooth step by step.

Buying a  sh*tcoin would  really waste of your  money  . Thats the  thing   why trading is  hard   because  there are  lots  of coins out there   to choose  from   and you  must   be  vigilant and  do  research first  before  you  invest into a  coin because  not all will  pump in the future  because  most  of coins  out there  just   pump  once and  dump  forever. To OP, if  you want   to trade  better study first the  most  important things to do in trading.

If you are a newbie in trading, It should be great if you read some threads here to make a conclusion which can help you in trading and also starts from a low capital which you can afford to lose so it will not hurts your feeling if you got negative profits because it is part of learning. After you read and made an conclusion about trading, It is good for you to try the things that you learn here and apply it on your trading strategy. Explore,Read,Apply <- That is one of the best thing to do IMO.

Yeah, that was the points to remember when trading. Also, in addition. Don't be carried away with your feelings. Discipline is one of the main factors that is essential in order for you to succeed in trading. Make sure to stick with your plans and focus on what you are doing. Also, make sure to have a deep background research on the coin you are going to trade to avoid the loosing of your bitcoin. And lastly, make put into your mind that trading has a risk of loosing money and you must accept the fact that in the start. We will loose some money because that is part of the trading learning process.

The best advice for someone that is new to trading is to way and try to learn as much as possible before you do any trades, since there is a lot more in this world than just buy low and sell high, you need to choose the right exchange, how much you are willing to risk, for how long you want to trade what altcoins you want to trade.

this is what you should know about bitcoin or altcoin investment and trading. An investment in Bitcoin is a long-term undertaking, often with multiple goals such as portfolio diversification, fiat risk hedging, business or ideological objectives, etc. Bitcoin investors are generally insensitive to price volatility and unlikely to exit their positions, barring some dire eventuality.

By contrast, most Bitcoin traders maintain only short-term positions, staying in a trade for a maximum of a few months - but often for no more than a few hours. Bitcoin traders are also extremely price-sensitive, striving for perfect entry and exit prices and abandoning their positions immediately if they prove unprofitable

If the coin is pumping just sell your coin and if the coin is dumping just buy a coin that is the simplest way to earn in trading. And don't trust a new coin because it might be a scam coin. And The most important is to have a team to control the market value, the dumping and pumping you must have a te of traders for fast income  :)

You have a good idea honestly i do not invest in new coin instead for safety purposes i choose old coins like litecoin monero or almost top 20 in coinmarket cap.. those altcoin is more safe or less risk to invest than the other altcoin and it gives me good profit but it takes a long time before you can make a good profit.

We must always check the reliability of the resource from which we are getting trading calls.
Usually the free tips will not work effectively as far as I have experienced. We must only trade based on paid calls or from highly reputed resources/people. In troll box, usually people shout out only for their own benefits not definitely for your benefits.

Mostly this scene always repeat itself in troll boxes.  Anywhere you go, each exchanges if there is a troll box will tell you otherwise.  Meaning, people who yell about price increase , buy and hold will more likely to be the first one to dump the coins once he see people starts to take the bait.  So my say here is do a research and confirm the information.

This must be true and an useful tip because I have many experience of faced losses with the free trading calls.
Usually we must start trading based on others prediction only with paper trading. The mock trading will ensure the effectiveness of their predictions. Once we conclude that they are good with their predictions, we can start using them in our live trading.

Dont expect massive returns, get out with a small win and be happy, otherwise you will be the "bagholder".  And never listen to someone who has a "guanteed winner" (its sure to be the guaranteed loser).  Dont trade with all your btc either, only small amounts, because trading alts is a bloodbath.

try to read some article regarding trading/alt coin trading you should learn a lot of things about it as alt coin trading is very risky because cannot totally predict its price movements whether it will be pumped or dumped i don't know what will be the best alt coin to invest but try to find an active alt coin to invest or check it if there are many people who are buying that certain alt coin just an opinion.

don't trust anybody, that is my mistake to believe people who said to hold my coins , after i hold my coins he dumped his coins and i'm not sell mine yet

it feels like i have been a victim of this same tactics and i have been on the same situation where i bought an alt coin and then she sold hers. ;D

All of suggestion is correct, but for first suggestion how can you detect that it is a shitcoin? Well check the coins ANN thread if they have an active community, raed some feedback. Read the roadmap and projects. Also the Buy Low Sell High is common and basic in tading. But how about after you buy, the price dive to very low and it seems its already dead,no update from develops and sometimes wallet is in maintenance? Sometimes its always to be vigilant.

This is great piece of advice I ever learned from warren buffet and I couldn’t resist myself from quoting it here.

Warren buffet says,

Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful.

I have got good results most of the times and I can vouch that this advice really works.

There are a lot of training tutorials on youtube regarding trading you can watch but nowadays speculative trading is almost like gambling unless some big news or economic performance updates that will drastically affects the prices, so I usually check the market news sites and economic calendars to have the feel where the prices are going and then decides to trade accordingly.

There are many ways how to trade and can give you tips in trading.
As a new traders just take time to do research, watch videos on
how to trade an altcoins. Learning is a process when you trade,
just be careful on trading that might get you lose money.
But the one thing rule is buy cheap price coin and sell it when
the price is high and when you gain profit already.

Just always buy low and sell high. Set a goal or target profit to sell what you are trading. Don't be greedy on profits. If you sell it to early then be contented with it rather than having no profit or losing money. Choose for long term and short term trading. Don't let your emotions get over with you. That's all. :)

The only advice that I can give for you dude! I think is you must observe the traders in the different exchange sites of how they do trading into that platform. For sure with that things it will surely reveal and you can develop your knowledge into it. And never forget the basic rules in trading, which is sell high then buy at low price whether altcoins or bitcoin.

I think the guy should first learn and read about trading before observing the actual trading.  It is better to set the foundation strong, this includes terminologies, strategy, charts and data reading.  Knowing this kind of stuff will maximize the effect of observation in the actual trading.  The reason is that he will easily identify the pattern, strategy and the movment of the trades just by readingcharts.

1.Do not invest more which you can afford to lose. All the traders at first think that trading means only win.But it's not as they thought.Sometimes you may be lose, so do not invest more than you can afford to lose.

2.You can set goals for each trades. It's prevent  traders from become greedy.

3.Many newbie traders don't know how to read charts so you need this skill to manage trading.

And lastly do not unprofitable position open for longer than 24hours.

You should subscribe to some youtube channel to gain some information about trading.
I recommend one to join is cryptogrinders.
They give some legit information.
Use coinmarketcap for researching about coin and use tradingview or coinigy for technical analysis.
I wouldn't mention any coin but look for the volatile coins for trading.

One of the best tips is Don't panic, set a stop loss and have self confidence. because if you panic you will just automatically sell it without knowing what will happen next and set a stop loss so you can't loose that much if that really happens. and of course self confidence is needed because you will be stopped because you will be anxious what will happen next.

If you are new to trading, I suggest you to study first, since you are going to focus on a lot of cryptocurrency you need to be equipped. Second do not rely on anyone else but yourself, if you have a gut feeling that an ICO will go up, check the chart and all the facts, since you will be needing and educated move, in that way you can lessen the risk and increase your profit and lastly, always monitor you investments, since you are not only investing in altcoins alone, but also with Bitcoin, you need to make sure you gain profit on both.

Buy when everyone is bearish and all the markets are down (pretty much now); sell when everyone around you start mentioning moon and Lambo.

Do your own research before investing into anything, don't get caught up in FOMO, educate yourself about technical analysis and psychology behind trading (read some books on stock trading).

The more time and will you invest in this, the more successfull you will be.

Good luck!

Buy and hold while you learn more about the space. Besides bitcoin, ETH, XMR & IOTA are all good bets.
