I'm looking for a low budget logo design for one of my clients. So I thought I'd open up a small competition here to give all designers a chance, and my client the best chance at a good logo. The bounty is set at 50 dollars, with its equivalent in BTC at the time off payout.

Small description of the business:
This is a service for people that are in debt, or close to getting there. Or people that are for some reason uncapable to tend to financial matters themselves. This business takes over the financial responsibility for a client and manages their payments, bills and contracts e.d.

The logo must consist of the following aspects/thematics:

• A boat, the Ark of Noah to be more precise. For the ones not familiar with the bible, check this out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noah%27s_Ark. The idea is that this Ark represents safety, new beginnings and protection.
• The letters ARK must be in the logo, not necessarily inside the boat. These letters are an abbreviation of the companies name.
• The company has the following 'subtitle' which is: Mentorschap & Beschermingsbewind.
  This can be seen as the 'slogan'
• Colors must be warm. So like brown, a dark shade of red etc.
• Fonts are free to pick, would prefer ones that are available on webpages as well.

The design can be very simplistic, a handmade drawing off an Ark would do. Just make it nice and tidy. I will need different sizes of the logo, vector drawing would be a bonus.
Winner will be decided with the client, on the 2nd of August. see update below

IMPORTANT UPDATE:Due to the fact that I cannot get the escrow in place before competition end, and the fact that a lot of people will only compete with a proper escrow in place, I will extend the competition until the 9th of August (1 week). This will be the first and last extension of the time span.

It is best to escrow the prize to provide security to all the participants.

Did some tweaking here and there, looks nice on darker backgrounds.
Transparency is still available, so are previous fonts.

It looks nice, but wait bro there we're still many will entry in this competition I guess, so just wait for more nice logo. And the price is good. And good luck to those who will participate and congrats to the winner in advance. Lol

Oh, okay cool. I'm deleting it now. I just searched "noah's ark.png" and didn't know that there's another actual company named ARK. OP could disregard mine as well.

just curious the text on the logo is just "ARK" or have any additional?,it's seems a bit odd but yeah i'll put my effort into it,i just hope the contest will end on 2nd august at 23:00 PM so i can spare my time

This logo design copetition is interesting but in only one day it's to hot to do a good logo and we haven't got the site of your client (we have a little description but it's not very precise).
So I'm going to do something but certainly that will not be incredible.  ;D

This one is also easy to modify, if you prefer different colours etc.
I'm kinda surprised that so few entry's have been submitted so far.

I know, updated the timespan by a week. Clients site is not up, as the logo will be a major inspiration for it (colors, fonts etc.). The client also wants to use the logo on letterheads and mailings, so nothing is set yet ;)

The decision to extend the timespan by a week, however, still stands. Primarily because I want to give the people that won't work without an escrow a fair shot at the loot as well!

I do agree that there are some very good entries. However, submitting your idea will be worth it as the client will decide the winner. So it's really up to their personal preference, over any logo quality & proper design (don't really know how this translates to English, hope you get the idea ;)).

Thought I would enter during my free time. The logo is flat and comes with and without the test so it will look good in a variety of applications. It will also suit many colour options.

You can make it if you already prepared. Because OP client is the one who will choose the winner of this contest. And i think it will tooks too long since a lot of entry has awesome design.
