Title: How can i check Litecoin transaction confirmation count? Post by: ondratra on March 23, 2013, 10:25:22 PM I found that litecoin has block explorer on address http://explorer.litecoin.net/ but i can't find here number of confirmations like i can on block chain for example http://blockchain.info/tx/e07c7c213ae791e8b100597eb30dd635ecd98f36c190739367f125d2f023e03b (http://blockchain.info/tx/e07c7c213ae791e8b100597eb30dd635ecd98f36c190739367f125d2f023e03b) .
Is there way for me to check how many confirmations transaction have so i could see the transaction progress and plan accordingly to it? The easiest way I can think of is to look at the block number the transaction first appears in (e.g. this transaction (http://explorer.litecoin.net/tx/22736fe2c5bcad11ee58faa1c857ed3cde89cbf35c09c75d2783208e933207b0) was in block 319072) and take the difference between that and the current block number. Post by: Winterfrost on March 24, 2013, 01:30:48 AM so if i substract two block number from the newest block number i get number of confirmations? Yes, the number of confirmations is the number of blocks that have elapsed since it was first included in a block (and including that block). For example, if a transaction was first included in block #20 and the current block is #100, then the transaction has 81 confirmations.
