Title: Fake Escrow Attemp by Hero Member !! Post by: UsaLove on August 02, 2016, 08:54:06 AM What happened:: I was trying to sell my bitcoin for moneygram and a scammer set up a fake escrow.I am glad i didn't send the bitcoin.

Not sure if The Pharmacist has anything to do with this as it's pretty easy to just use someone elses address if you assume it will fail anyway.

I gave some tips on how a scammer could actually improve the message in the other thread and they didnt even bother. Please, if you read this. Verify all messages! Keybase.io makes this very simple.

That's my address, and it's the one in my profile and the one I have registered with the 777 campaign. I didn't get any payments to that address lately other than campaign payments and bitcoin I bought.
It's too early in the morning for this. Really. I haven't even made coffee yet. Edit: Oh I see, he didn't send the funds. The glovermee guy wasn't even on the receiving end of one of my negative trusts. Not sure why he'd throw my address in there, but nothing surprises me on this forum. He might have an alt account which could be on your negative trust list.Scammers usually have more than 1 account. |
