Hello i got a newbie question, what information did i need to know before buy an account?
is it a good thing to buy an account? will i get any trouble by using the account I bought?

It's not a good thing to buy an account. It's frowned upon by a large part of the community.
That being said, it's not against the forum rules, so you can actually buy an account if you really want to.

The thing is: buying an account is ALWAYS risky.

The previous owner might have done some bad stuff recently (either over PM or on the forum itself), the account might be hacked, or the previous owner might try to get his account back by signing a message and sending it to the admin.
This can result in the account being taken away, being red-tagged or even impact your other (alt) accounts. If the account you bought got banned after you bought it, you have a real problem there... Also, if your new account gets red-tagged after you bought it because of the actions of the previous owner, you run a real risk of your other accounts getting red-tagged to.

If you really want to buy an account, make sure you do the following things:
- let an experienced, trusted, escrow help you.... By holding the funds AND double-checking the account
- make sure the seller gives you a signed message with an address staked a long time ago, that was coupled to the account
- look at the account history, post history, feedback
- search for the accountname on the forum, look for scam reports or other negative posts made about the account
- cross-reference any addresses that were posted with the account against addresses of known scammers or spammers

Always using an escrow to do the transaction, check all history of that account, like lending history, trust and also check if the owner of that account can signed message or not.

Don't buy an account here. It is just wasting your bitcoins. As newbie it is better to put in the time and effort to rank up your account. You will learn much more this way.

If you are looking for an account to joina signature campaign. It will take you weeks of posting to get back  the money paid for the account and you might even get kicked out of the campaign if your posts are unconstructive.

Just rank up to Junior rank and join your own first signatur campaign instead.

I think buying the account would not hurt, and it does not throw our bitcoin. Due to the purchase of our account is tantamount to invest, If the account that we buy has gone up the price we can sell it again.


yeah right, signature campaign does not require special skills but we are required to have an understanding of bitcoin to make contructive post. And newbie a bit difficult for the problem.

There is no justifiable reason for anyone to buy an account. If you want to buy an account in order to participate in a signature campaign, then you might as well just invest your Bitcoins somewhere else and make a profit without spamming here. If you want to buy an account in order to ask for an honest large-scale loan, then just do it honestly and properly provide collateral. If you want to buy an account in order to scam, then just kill yourself instead. See? There is no justifiable reason at all.

If you are buying an account then do a thorough research  on the account you are buying be sure that the account do not have a loan to anyone here ask for screenshots of latest conversations

it's not a good thing, just buying an account is very bad. it's same you lie about yourself, it you can give some effort to making an account is mirroring about yourself and why you want to buy an account will give a lot of risky you can get?have a big chance your bought account will get a red trust.be yourself-man.

Well for me if you are just newbie i suggest to dont buy first learn something here before you buy search about bitcoin. and search about the terms..
After that you can buy account and make sure that they can sign a message for the account if there is already posted old address.

even if your account sale goes smoothly, you may end up buying an account with such shitty quality posts that no sig campaign would want you. a lot of campaign managers review you before accepting you and that's the main reason why they reject people.

you could of course spend a while upping the post quality, but you may as well concentrate on the account you have if it's relatively close to ranking up anyway.

if anyone finds out the identity of the account during the sale process it's possible they'll leave it negative feedback and that reduces your options even further. most campaigns won't consider anyone with negative trust.

Bro Buying Accounts is not a Good Choice According to me Because it won't Give you Much Experience about all Ranks of This Forum.....

Don't buy an account just for the sake of a status symbol or to join a campaign. It is not worth it. As most have said before it will not get accepted in to a campaign because the post quality will change once you start posting. The campaign managers are not stupid they can recognize a change in the way a person posts from when they started doing crappy posts to all the sudden talking like a university professor. ::)

You must earn your rank here. Just start off with a newbie and build it up. No need to rank up in a rush because you will pay for it in the long run without learning anything how things work around here.  ;)

Well said.  Post quality should always be good, and this is something I don't think a lot of these account buyers realize.  It's a total waste if you're just going to shitpost, and it's not even going to be fun, which is why I started on this forum.  I didn't join a sig campaign for months and wasn't even thinking about it when I joined bitcointalk.  These account sales drive me batty, what can I say.

By "trouble" did you mean get banned in this forum? Not at all but buying/selling accounts are frowned up on here. It's really risky to buy an account. First of all, you don't know what has happened to that account before. Does it have any issues with anyone in this forum? Because if the account does, then you're likely to need to deal with those issues later.

If you want a "clean" account, then wait for your account to rank up instead. I'm pretty sure OP's here because someone informed him about the signature campaign of this forum. Well, for starters like you, you can join 777coin or Bitvest signature campaign so you could at least get an experience before you reach full member rank. Getting accepted in a signature campaign is harder than people think. You need to have an English that is understandable by other people and not just yourself. Then you also need to post quality posts.

If you want to buy account you need to check following things in order to avoid scam.. :-
a) Firstly You have to check trust rating of the account that you want to buy..
b) Then you need to check the post quality of that account...
c) 'Prevention is better than Cure', So I suggest you hier an escrow for the trade...

If you are not familiar with checking forum accounts, let the escrows do that thing for you but be sure to make them happy by giving them tips. If you want to try it out your self, check the post history to see if posts are good enough to be enrolled in a campaign. Next is use google, search for the user name and include the word scam like site:bitcointalk.org [username here] scam that way search result will only give out search results that are related to the username and the word scam if its associated with any scam.

You should (I would say must) use escrow if you want to buy account or want to trade anywhere (especially if other party has negative or natural feedback). Now, if you are looking to buy an account make sure to verify signed message, which means to verify a messages associated with a bitcoin address (which is posted by that particular user account long ago). This will make sure that the account is not hacked or compromised and you are dealing with the same person who has created that account).
