Read somewhere before that the price at tradehill was not as low. Could this be some people behind Mtgox selling low to get/keep customers showing that Mtgox is a better place to trade at? Ofcourse there are many factors such as, sunday, far from payday, summer etc but that might be one. However there has still not been hardly any coverage of bitcoins in media in many countries yet as this happens during the coming weeks it will impact the price. Give it a little while and the prices will begin to equalize as more people try to make money off the difference.

Post by: kokojie on June 12, 2011, 05:04:17 PM I think the fact that mtgox had so much trouble with dwolla's new API change, causing many people not able to move their USD to and from mtgox, was the cause of the recent crash. All other exchanges just followed mtgox' price.
