Title: Unfair Negative Trust - EcuaMobi (SOLVED) Post by: (Worldwide) on August 04, 2016, 12:28:22 AM EcuaMobi recently negged me for a no reason I deem unnecessary and no proof.
I only sell promo codes, and the buyer never get problems with kodes I'm selling. RHavar has purchased my code, and him said no problem until today. wetsuit has purchased my code, and him said no problem until today. what I did wrong so that you give me red trust ? everyone is entitled to benefit from the items they sell. EcuaMobi please to be fair. Regards, (Worldwide) Title: Re: Unfair Negative Trust - EcuaMobi Post by: RHavar on August 04, 2016, 12:51:22 AM The feedback left is:
Quote Laundering money. If you deal with this user you may get negative trust and legal problems. which seems a bit unfair, and a bit of an overreach of the trust system. (Worldwide) is selling legitimate coupons, it's hard to call that money laundering or untrustworthy. As I understand it, most of the coupons are got by going to an event and then people who have no use for them resell them (which is indeed against the ToS). Meanwhile a service that offers explicit bitcoin mixing/laundering is praised and given + trust here (as it should be). Title: Re: Unfair Negative Trust - EcuaMobi Post by: The Sceptical Chymist on August 04, 2016, 01:00:10 AM Seems like the problem isn't your delivery, it's the very nature of what you're selling, which he thinks is probably carded or otherwise stolen goods. And you know damn well the gift card and Dominos Pizza freebies are stolen goods. So if you're selling that shit, yeah I'd say you're not trustworthy.
Trust isn't moderated on this forum, so the mods aren't going to do anything. If you could show your codes/coupons aren't stolen then Ecuamobi might remove his feedback (I cannot speak for him). Otherwise there's nothing you can do and coming here and complaining isn't going to you a damn bit of good. So if you're selling that shit, yeah I'd say you're not trustworthy. I doubt the coupons are stolen, if they were they wouldn't be valid. AFAIK you can't even buy them, they're just given out at events. In fact I've bought, sold, been given and given out event coupons several times. (Most recently I was given a decent amount of Digital Ocean gift codes which I had no use for, so I sold them to someone who did). I'm not going to pretend it's allowed by the terms of service, but I don't think it makes me untrustworthy or a money launderer... I strongly believe OP is selling stolen goods because of the extreme low price and the fact he seems to have a lot of codes or even an unlimited quantity. OP can you explain how you get the codes? If I'm convinced the codes are not stolen then I'll remove the feedback. Even if the buyers haven't got any problems until now it doesn't mean the codes are legally obtained.I doubt the coupons are stolen, if they were they wouldn't be valid. It looks like one of the answers to that quora question claims that you can get free "gift cards" to aws just by visiting/attending events hosted by (participated by) aws. From what I can tell, it is not possible to purchase these gift cards/codes. It also appears to be against the TOS to resell/transfer the cards.
