Hi, Im a Newbee when it comes to bitcoin and in need of some serious help. I transferred 0.56 bitcoin into my bitcoinQT but there was a 4 year sync currently pending. So i followed a step by step online from reddit.com how to sweep and transfer to electrum which i did and it says pending for quite some time now, so i did a test and sent 0.02 to my electrum from localbitcoins and it showed up paid right away but says unconfirmed??        I dont understand why its unconfirmed and why the 0.52 from QT to electrum its taking so long?

 

ok so sorry for the dumb question about the unconfirmed it went through and everything is fine for the small test.

The problem im having and what i dont understand is.. i transferred 0.56 from local bitcoin to bitcoreQT wallet but i had 4 years sync left. so what i did was sweep it with the private key to send it from my QT wallet to electrum so i wouldnt have to wait for the sync to use the money. Problem is i have no idea if it worked or whats going on with the 325$ i sent and i hope i didnt lose it!!

the only reason that comes to mind without seeing the TXID of your transaction is that you have included a very low fee or no fee at all with your 0.56 bitcoin transaction, also because you say the other one was confirmed.
