I'm thinking about getting one and was wondering if it's worth buying.

No not really. I bought one when it got released years ago.
The main aspect is the 3d and it is only fun for a short time. Just save your money and buy something else.

Personally I think you can buy for that money also a cheap android phone. The games you can play on such smart phones are almost the same quality as the 3ds and don't forget the time you can buy new games for the 3ds is only for a short period.

have you ever played monster hunter? if no then go buy a 3ds now and play it. (assuming you like grinding and getting stuffs with luck) I assure you that it will consume most of your time to the point you'll never sleep again. If you ever played tho then good for you fellow hunter.

If you like some classic style RPG then 3ds is for you. Almost great RPG are in 3ds. Before I own a ps vita but I also buy a 3ds before I really like rpgs.

I don't play games often, I see them as potential time wasters. Not that they are not fun though.

Here's my advice: Don't waste too much money buying games that will get outdated in no time.

yeah it is worth upcoming especially if you are a fan of pokemon. soon they will release the new version called pkmn sun and pkmn moon

Yeah pokemon games are from nintendo. I havent played yet the pokemon go on smart phone because I prefer the gameplay in 3ds. I'm also excited for its release.

I think 3ds is best handheld console, it is perfect for you if you like zelda, mario kart and pokemon games. But if you want seriuos games, buy normal console

its not, unless you like specific games like, pokemon, fire emblem, monster hunter. 3ds may not have  so many good games but quality>quantity.

In my opinion yes, it is worth it. I am mainly a fan of Sony, but they dropped the ball hard with the Vita and the 3DS has much more games than the Vita. There are great games like Super Smash, Pokemon, Monster Hunter, etc. Hardware is not that great (in graphics power) but we know it's about the games. Also if you can get one on a low firmware (or hardmod one in recent fw) you can install CFW and install Emulators, homebrew and *cough* more.

its depend what your aim for. its fun in solo and multiplayer anyway, if u want more "gameplay" off course high end console and pc is the best, but if u want to unlimited fun.. 3DS and Wii specially the best.. i have been followed nintendo since gameboy.

I don't really think so as you will get bored pretty fast, as 3ds is pretty childish so you'll won't be interested in its games pretty soon, better buy something else

Nope, it is not worth getting. If you're getting 3DS, you might want to get an android tablet or a smartphone with a big screen instead. In that way, you can play PSP and other handheld games including 3DS. You can basically have all the handheld games + smartphone.

I am not sure it's worth it, better not to try if you are not sure ;D
