Title: Multiple problems with Bitcoin-qt client (can't open or bootstrap) Post by: TheN33k on March 24, 2013, 07:27:24 PM 1. I cannot run it on my computer (windows 7 64bit). Whenever I open it it says "bitcoin-qt.exe has stopped working"
edit: problem fixed by deleting bitcoin folder in appdata..I'll se if I can bootstrap. 2. I tried runnning it on a virtual machine. I downloaded bootstrap.dat through a torrent, put it in the bitcoin directory, and when I open the client it simply says (out of sync). Nothing else seems to happen. A fix to either one of these problems would be super helpful, I just need the qt client to test an app I'm making. |
