Not every exchange will celebrate its 5th anniversary, lol. I hope this is not to say that you are going to turn into next Bitfinex (Mt. Gox) the other day...

Out of curiosity, which is the oldest exchange still alive and active?

I'm just saying as i recall, but mt.gox, tradehill, and btc-e are the only ones i remember using back then. Suffice to say, only btc-e is alive and kicking from them.

Happy Anniversary, for coming far all these years with all the challenges and difficulties being faced which is not play work and demands consistency. I say kudos hopefully you get to celebrate 10 years and beyond...

Who knows, how old is Coinbase? Though not an exchange (in the true sense of the word), but I think we can safely compare its age and longevity. If I remember correctly, BTC-e had been hacked once in the past...

But did anyone succeed at attacking Coinbase?

I'm too late to come to know about 5th Anniversary of btc-e. I don't believe they have successfully up for 5 years and continuing as one of the major exchanges. Continue the same and bring more trust.

In the world of crypto currency exchanges lasting 5 years is a solid achievement but would still like to see better support @ BTC-e.  I can say i have never had any lasting problems thoughs.

This is something to be happy joyous about in the face of adversity which is not limited to hackers, competition, unfavorable market volatility couple with the numerous clients all over the globe with different needs and interest. Five years and still counting is something not be joked with and hopefully we can still see you around in the next five years... Congrats...
