I think it's not a scam, it is possible that coinbase is having a error that have not been detected by coinbase technicians. Perhaps you could report this incident to the CS coinbase so that they could figure it out and do a repair if it includes enough fatal problems. Coinbase not harmful they just want every user feel secure and do not experience a theft could harm them

Contacting their customer about your problem but if you didn't get any answer from there, trying to talk to someone is coinbase users, whether he have a problem with you or not. maybe it's just an error but keep be careful about your amount.

why are you even using coinbase anyways? they are not such a good place to trade bitcoin with all their restrictive rules about using your own bitcoin!

unfortunately I can't open youtube videos right now to give a certain opinion but it is not that strange to see an exchange faking some stuff in their orderbooks and things like that. I will edit this if I could watch it later back at home.

Coinbase is not scam... they are just too conservative. If you are thinking of margin trading, Coinbase is not for you (maybe bitfinex is)?

Isn't Coinbase one of the most trustworthy sevice? I.think they take their job seriously, why would they scam their customers? Probably is just some temporary techical issue.

What a bunch of FUD and nonsense.

Did anyone commenting in here even watch the linked video?

The OP simply forgot to click the "Using" field to change which account they want to sell from. According to the video posted, Coinbase appears to be working just fine.

I think you have no idea how selling on coinbase works!

Do you really believe that I donīt know how to sell?

Coinbase seems like a very professional company, but they are way too conservative and annoying with Bitcoin, more and more people is getting transactions cancelled because they need to give details about it. Also its hard to support someone like Brian Armstrong which has been wrong so man times.

Trust by whom? Coinbase is a PayPal-like operation that shares your personal data with every agency that inquires. There have been frequent stories about problems with their service. Frankly I don't understand why so many people store their Bitcoin with third-party services and subsequently are surprised that full control over their funds is being restricted. Are you people too lazy?

After all, Bitcoin is about controlling one's own money. What is the problem with installing a proper wallet software (like Bitcoin Core) and using this software to receive and send payments? It makes me sad, that people give away all their freedom just out of convenience. Bitcoin was meant to end the fraudulent reign of banks, but apparently people are too ignorant to learn from history...

ya.ya.yo!

Now, after I wrote to customer support it is working, but not like before.

I canīt choose the wallet. I have to type in the btc amount to sell and then waiting and trying many times to sell it.

If I click on buy and choose there the wallet to deposit (from where I want to sell the coins ("on Buy Frame") and then click on "Sell"
and then type in the amount to sell, there comes a message "you have not enough coins" seconds and minutes later it works.

I don't see a scam here. There is really nothing that points towards a scam. You encountered a bug in their system (no dropdown in the video).
Instead of wasting your time here, make a ticket, i am sure they will help you the best they can.

I personally use coinbase on a daily basis and I never seen any issue when dealing with them.  As others have said, you may want to contact their support department.  They are good at getting back to people.  You also might want to clear out your cache and temp files, for they could be causing an issue with the site if there were recent updates which those temp files may interfere with.  Have faith and good luck.

Okay, you find the answer but that is not a problem, seems the system is normal they can getting an error and maybe there are some former of error is stay. but waiting next day and trying again maybe the system will already running with smoothly again.

Maybe Coinbase have technical problems when you try to sell your bitcoin. Many users doesnt encounter this problems. Wait for it to be back to normal operation. Wait for days. If it dont really back to normal, then call their support to assist you. Dont get panic because its.normal to have technical error.
