well, that list posted by alani is very well known here. and most of them are not free BTW.
would you share us which company's debid card you got for free? and how many days it took to reach you? and did you used the card to shop in the market?

I go through refer link and get uquid virtual card which been good so far. i added to my paypal account and make payment. everything fine with them.
As review about uquid by Alani i choice uquid because they have good price when i deposit with bitcoin. i used to use btc-e which mean i can load them instant to uquid. that what i also like from this service !

Soon i will get a plastic card from uquid when bitcoin price in market better !

Well there are other post here in the forum mainly for the give away of some debit card companies. I didn't know uquid give free plastic card but you mentioned you paid so you didn't get it for free right?

i got free uquid virtual card from link refer by alani123 . i do not know how to get free plastic from them because i do not want plastic card yet. i think they do offer for some partner . i will try find it out soon

Maybe because it's out from the promotion of them, but my brother is getting the bitcoin debit card for free and no need paying with something and really free and it's sending by companies into my address but I don't know about the detailed from the companies but a debit card for free is real.

You can also can get free virtual debit card from Spectrocoin or Cryptopay, just ask for card in their giveaway thread. But I never saw any company giving away free plastic debit cards.

i wonder that debit card from spectrocoin or cryptopay could be use to verify paypal because i am thinking to verify paypal by adding that debit card.

These bitcoin debitc card can be used to verify Paypal. I never tried it, because I don't use Paypal much, but many people already verified their accounts with one of these cards.

Well, if the card is handled by mastercard or visa i can say maybe the card is always accepted for verification in some companies. but maybe if the card is not handled by master card or visa I don't think it's can be for verification.

yeah. share some actual experience. not online. I mean does this card works on real markets for shoping? and atm machines to cashout bitcoins?

I did get mine for free from Coinjar for doing some testing for them otherwise the card would have cost  $25aud which is pretty expensive if you ask me.

I just tried with uquid and i think they have some requirement about debitcard
- Low fee : yes , you shopping with same currency will 0% fees. you have to pay fees for convert if you using shop with different currency
- Load money bitcoin rate same rate market : they using bitpay . most of highest rate on market now as i know
- Low Withdraw to ATM : i order uquid plastic now and will soon have reviews for you

i will do more research about currently service we got and come back to you

CoinsBank and spectrocoin.com/en/account.html are best providers for debit\plastic card also in term of fee but if you need to load high amount must be verified in simple quick steps .

as far as i know. not much people ready submit their own private document to online website.
i just got experience with uquid, but they do not require ID check + multi card support. That will be huge money you can spend.
Let say i want using up to 10000$ i will buy 4 card of uquid instead of buy somewhere else 1 card and they blocking for ID requirement.

Soon i have uquid card plastic and i will give you answer. but as far as i understand . bitcoin debit card with our name appear on card will similar with bank debit card ( which they all from same issuer : VISA or MASTER CARD) . therefore, i do believe they will have no problem when you using in public.

That's right because at this time is very troubled because you can't check how the security of the site, whether that is to have a good security or not. and on the outside from here there are a lot of carders is always like to steal personal data from the site using an exploit and this is become important reason never put your personal data in the site without best security.

You correct, safety online is most important reason when we go online for shopping. the reason i choice uquid virtual card for load my paypal account also come from this reason. I do not want bring my bank card to load my paypal and tomorrow open my paypal see much of transfer which i do not know who did that. Even a big company like paypal also can not give you guarantee for your safety of your money. then when some happen. you still are person in lost

as long the public atm or the merchant have a visa or mastercard logo,it'll be fine,i've using bitcoin debit card for a long time,already use it everywhere,only few merchant don't accept it,but the rest went smooth

Wasn't bitcoin created to avoid situation where we have to use debit/credit cards in the first place? I fouind this a bit ironic that bitcoines are baited by 'free' debit cards.
So they are giving out free Debit Cards to lure people into their parasitic network of service fees. I am afraid that by using bitcoin debit cards we are pushing bitcoin adoption away.

you 100% can using uquid bitcoin card for verify paypal and  transfer bitcoin fund into paypal as i did now.
i did not try another bitcoin card yet but with uquid bitcoin card. i get free transaction fees if i load usd card into usd paypal account. if you pay or load with another currency they will charge you convert fees. they also noticed customer should not pay with another currency for avoid this fees.

I am agree with you at some point but for most bitcoiner. we prefer anonymous way to cashout money. therefore, bitcoin debit card still is best option.

I think uquid vcc allowed for every country. they do have some list country which they can not issue or delivery cards but it not matter, they support for multi and anonymous then you can change to another country which they supported.  Uquid not ask for your real information ( they also no need verify your real documents) as i said before this what i like most from them. therefore, you can use any information you want, but make sure you keep and save that information in case you lost password or something which you need contact them for recover .

XAPO account you can link to your PayPal account, but they have some charges for a card to issue, it is around 20 USD. Also, they have some fees for each transaction if you withdraw from ATM but to through PayPal also they have some charges. You can get all those fee details on their site. I have linked a card to my PayPal account but so for didn't charge to it but I withdraw cash from ATM's few times, and it works very good.

Looking at the date of that thread, I'm a bit skeptical if they are still offering free services since that's nearly a year ago.
However, I have tried using Spectrocoin's virtual bitcoin debit card and I can say that it's actually really good one, considering the fees aren't high. Although I only fear the tx confirmation at most times.

What was that debit card for?  Can we buy or shop items using that one even if we are required to pay fiat for every item purchase?  Or it is only used for some services that receives bitcoin as a payment. Because there is actually  no merchants here in my place that accepts bitcoin for now

It is classic Mastercard/Visa same as you get from your bank, you top it up with bitcoins and have $ or euros with the card
The card can be used in any ATM with mastercard logo as you would use the card from the bank, pay online or use it at shops that accept mastercard/visa

So the issuer of the Mastercard/Visa is regular bank, only difference is that the bitcoin can be used to deposit to the card over the provider site

that is 100% similar with bank card. the issuer only take your bitcoin, and put money in your card. you can spend anywhere you want.

Ahh, i see so it is somehow very similar to visa or master card right? Then if so i supposed that if i will top it up with bitcoin the amount being store in the debit card will be in fiat so i can use them in any transaction i want. This one is quite good i guess? the problem i think right now is it that this is not yet available in our place

So I've skimmed through what they offer and found out that it CAN be a nice substitute to Xapo. However, in how many degrees would you compare it to the Xapo debit card? For those who already used the uquid debit card, how can you say about the fees they impose? I personally own a xapo and a blockchain debit card and usually pay around $20 a month for some fees on both cards.

Dam thanks for this, didn't even know this was a thing. I guess being from the US really kills it for me sometimes when it comes to Bitcoin debit cards due to US regulations.

ppl from US have the gr8 cards from BITPAY and also from COINBASE, I would investigate both and not think twice, they are big companies and are a way more reputable then some providers for the rest of the world, its shame that we in europe can not get debit cards from them, because both companies have good reputation and btpay btc/$ is prolly best in the crypto debit world

i don't think that right now using bitcoin debit card is good for ever country because when i see in my country to use it not usable by everyone . alos thr insial chage quite high and also the shipping charge ..but the loading fund i can see is good rate but right now i prefer using virtual card

you must really missed so many debit card giveaway back then,just for example e-coin(now wirex),spectrocoin,or even cryptopay who giving out free physical/plastic debit card for free even they're not going to charge you for shipment,and there's no difference between plastic card or virtual if it's about the fees in my opinion

Uquid has the lowest fees of them all, but they write bad English so I can't vouch that they are safe to use. Wirex has not lunched its free virtual card yet, it's still in the beta phase as of now. Cryptopay's fees are moderate and I've not checked out spectrocoin.

yes there is no different about fees ( only fees withdraw at ATM if you want cashout to real cash) at this point, using virtual card will cheaper for shopping online

Yeah, it seem uquid not care much about languages. but i think it not important as far as i not read what they saying.
what we need from them is virtual card and service. so far. I still think uquid is best on market at this moment.

I will love to be a partaker of this but the issue I always have with this is the cost of transferring the fund in addition to the cost of maintenance coupled with the cost of conversion to my own currency. This added together would just make use local exchange platform and get my coins converted with little stress...
