I started a forum about bitcoin and thought I will pay for activity. so if you be active and write post on my forum you will also earn some bitcoin.

Seems interesting, although im not sure if you are allowed to self-promote in this section, I wouldn't do it in the future if i was you.

I think you should share more details related to payouts and general rules and regulations, as your site doesn't have any active topics at a moment, so do you also pay to start a new topic?

There are several attempts from before from people who started their own forum and give reward at first but can not continue it because of the lack of interest. How much are you willing to pay anyway?

It is important to have escrow so people will be sure of getting paid at the end of the week.

You might also consider starting a signature campaign to promote your site here on this forum.

I'm not sure this is ever going to work. How are you going to fund the activity? You will probably need a lot of banners or advertisors. The second category will probably only get interested if their is major real activity going on at your forum.

You will likely only attract people that are in it to make a quick satoshi, causing massive botting and spamming.

The idea sounds good, but if you start thinking about the implementation it soon starts to look a lot less promising due to the reasons mentioned above.

For anyone registering on that forum, remember to use a different password than you use here!

Can't really build up a good user base with inexperienced people only.
You'll need a plan to attract legitimate and knowledgeable users.

And that's just part of the problem if you want your site to be successful.

I will not also promote myself in the future. But I thought at least once I should inform to the members about my forum.

I think it works great, and should not be underestimated. Because we know the above forum is still relatively new, and should not be compared with bitcointalk. But I am optimistic if op could manage the forums wisely, and with promotions such as giveaway for example, then I think it will be many who visit the above forum. keep the spirit thanks

You need to provide more details about the payment rate mate, that's will encourage more people to visit your forum and being active there. And also open it for members with good experience about Bitcoin, not only for newbies.

I think first you have to promote your forum to get more targeted visitors and members, and then make good payment rate that's surely will make your forum popular between the Bitcoin's community.

Intersting site its very clear no thread is there.. but how much you can pay for posting there in your forum let me know so that i can suggest your site for my friends for those new in bitcoin..

Monetizing a forum is a very difficult process and it takes loads of your own money to make some money at the start. You will have to pay people high rates at the start to attract attention and then

grow your user base from there. If your rates are too low, nobody will move over to your forum. Most of them already earn some good payment from other forums. People are not attracted to forums

for poor quality content, they want constructive posts that adds value to the discussions. If you make this newbie only, you will end up with loads of spamming and unconstructive posts.   ::) 

I think your plan is not going to go well, if you do not have a high enough rate for the payment of members, it also requires a lot of funds, whereas you do not have that much income from a forum?
even if you pay a higher rate of the faucet, maybe it's just a few people who will take advantage of your forum by being a spammer.

Yeah and I don't think that its an great idea to spend time there, as we are not sure how long we will be get paid and if doesn't pay regularly then our efforts will go in vain.

OP should have posted a more detailed post in the service announcements board instead of just saying,
"Hi, I made a new forum. Here's the link. Bye!"

OP is looking for newbies. Not sure how are they going to learn from each other if all of them are just newbies. They can't learn by asking each other questions. The forum should have some bitcoin experts at least.

Anyway, it's either the website is actually paying or OP is trying to use his "forum" as a phishing attempt. To anyone who is interested, try registering with a dummy account first with a random password.

I just checked your forum and I really like your layout.. I know it's hard to start something like this , need really long time to get popular and get member who will came back..

You need to think about start signature company here so that people from different places (i mean section local)  can see that you start forum about BTC.

Maybe start some contest or someting like that to interest more people to join there. You said that we can earn on your forum but you didn't mention that on your forum , so make new topic and post about earning  and payout .

I have watched a lot of similar forums , no one of them managed to be popular , because people visit forums according to their content and threads , but when you pay your forum users for being active , that will make their posts spammy and pointless , just to get money , so you are wasting your money .

I don't know from where you will get funds to pay for users. And people not interested into new forums, because there already many great forums exist. When user won't find anything interesting, he will leave forum and never come back. By paying for users without strict rules you only get spamers.

How much to you intend to pay for activity? Where do this fund come from? Saying "This is for newbie" do you mean that is for newbies too, or that is for newbies only?

If you want people to get intested you need to give full details.

I agree. You have to provide more informations on terms and conditions, how is the payment system organized and other necessary deatils to get people interested in your forum.It will not be easy to attract biger number of forum users.

The Site is indeed very new and it has very few posts in it. I think OP needs to launch a good Scheme to permote his site otherwise it may take ages to get traffic to the site.

He really need unique advertisement since their are many huge bitcoin furom existing these days and i've seen many potential furom wich still striving for traffic for themselves eventhough they spend to much money for it to gather more traffic, if OP really got a desired to get some exposure to his site well he needs more money to spend on signature campaigns,outside advertising,weekly,monthly giveaways and paying good marketers to help him get the audience he want.

without any rule, the forum will be chaos, and i think the OP should be clear to explaining to other here. this is not because for only newbie, but i think many people its curious about the site.

There are rules. Give the Admin some time to create the rules post in the Announcement & Notices section of the forum. The post will not only contain the rules but also the payment amounts.

The website seems legit. I don't see a reason for which Admin would scam us. He's nice and his forum has potential. Instead of waiting for someone to post proofs of payment, we can just all join in and see what happens later, what do you think? We don't have anything to loose for being among the first users of the forum. :)

OP forums are a harsh thing. I created one last year and even though I worked hard on it,it just didn't work, good luck though!

Just a hint, with newbies you will have big mess on your forum. Like others told you, you need to have rules about constructive topics and posts, and about payments. If you don't make things clear on the beginning, you will not be able to deal with problem's later.
There was similar attempts in the past, as I know they didn't have big success. Probably they stayed without founds for further work. You will need a lot of money to finance all this. Think twice are you ready for that.

Define "earn some Bitcoin". Paying per post or what?

I dont see he will pay per post either maybe that is hes point for that but he also state that only good for newbies so it will also tell that he would pay low amount per post in his furom but i think this thing will not be accepted by those experience people here since the payment is so low and boring.

You're speaking like you've been here before and you know what's going on. If you don't know what to post to earn some cash with your signature campaign, you can look for anything else but trying to destroy a website's reputation with predictions.

Just wait. Be patient, the rules and the instructions will be coming soon. Stay tuned with the forum, and you'll find out. The Admin didn't say that it's JUST for Newbies, he didn't say he's going to pay low amounts for posting. Wait.

Also, the website was released on the 12th. One day later, everyone is going crazy about the categories being empty. If all of you, would have joined the forum and posted, of course others would have found more topics. You're expecting something impossible from a new forum.

as he mentioned I believe he'll pay only to be active there. and in the activation all these things are included. like posting, commenting starting new topics and all that.
but yes. he should at least mention how much he'll pay to stay active there. without these neccessary details I don't think peoples will join this.

Correct. OP just create a templete and added it to a domain and hosting now asking users to write whaterver there and get paid. lolzz. it is completely money wasting thing. when you stop people paying for writing there all of them suddenly stop using your forum. because the forum it self have nothing and it is just a fake forum being filled by users shit posts.



with all these details He should escrow the funds he's fixed to give away for shit posting in the forum..

OP still didn't replied to above peoples and didn't reveal the payment of working on the forum.. without this we can't say anything about the site.

I read it. I also have good news for everybody.

I started using this forum for six days already (entering my second week!). I started off as a total newbie, knowing nothing about what I could expect from the forum. Two days later, the Admin offered me a Moderator job on the forum. I am very happy and proud to be the Moderator of a forum, and I wanted to see what it is about.

After my first suspicions, everything cleared up in my mind: the Admin only wants to create a great community for everyone to join and have fun in. The design of the forum is great amd user-friendly. Also, yesterday I have received the first payment on the forum as a surprise. I didn't know the Admin before, I spoke to him since the second day since I joined the forum and everything has been going great since then.

The Admin also stated here that this is 'for Newbies'. I asked him what is with that sentence and he explained the fact that he thought higher ranks members will not really be interested in his forum, and he wanted to give the Newbies a chance as they don't really have many to earn some BTC over here. He was talking about the Newbies from THIS (BTCTalk) forum, not about HIS.

I'm now willing to create a great community out of SkyBitcoin, and I recommend you all to join us too. Who knows.. one day we might be a community as big as BTCTalk is. I'm also very happy to be a Mod there and will continue to support the great website.

speaking from my previous experience:
projects like these require a lot of effort or even more investment when you start
you have to be able to write exclusive,up to date content or give enough incentitive to people to do that for you
i.e. community creation is a very hard task given the exisiting competiton
*gonna check the forum out anyways :) 

I've registered on the forum and it looks like the Admin wants to create something big out of it. For the payments, you need to get past the required Points (they need to be stated by the Admin) in order to get paid to your BTC address. You can't be paid since you're registered because that would create a LOT of spam on his forum.

How much OP is paying for his forum? a lot of forum that pay per post is being held in services section and days went by it just disappear from there.
The one I think is probably continuing is like a pokemongo forum I supposed.

I think eveyone is concern about payment, ok but for my forum promotion I am allowing signature for every level member even newbie. 20kevin  already cleared that I said this forum is for newbie, because experienced one will not be interested in a new forum.

For the experienced people were you experienced from the birth, you have been experienced after being here and learning here. so I offered newbie to get a platform to be experienced and earn some money. this is not the simple rules that I will create over a night, I need time to create the full payment rules.

So not only newbie experienced also welcome here, you don't have to any invest just share some knowledge for us.

Have anyone got pay yet ? I am still waiting for somebody to claim that they have received payment. I do not trust the OP. He is just a newbie :) and base on my experience, many newbie did not keep their words

OP stated that some members have been here so they build experience from here, and they won't be interested in his forum because of the time given in other forum or alike.

@op, I must say you have a dream and for those saying he is wasting his time. I believe he also knows the challenges involved before set to go that path. I wish you well. I even tried creating an account to offer in my own little way but its taking like forever for confirmation mail to arrive. I suggest you look into that...

Just now checked your site and seeing that it is almost same as bitcointalk.org site, only some changes, and their is no thread where we can get the full details about how we can earn from this site by just being active. and even their is no wallet address where we can see that the site got bitcoins to give in promotion.

Please OP can you give me more details about how to earn from your site so that i can  also start to earn from your site and i can shift my traffic of followers to your site.

Well you should obviously edit the SMF forum to include Bitcoin. I'm pretty sure more people will join if you include those features. If not, well, we have BCT why should we switch to yours?

You don't get paid here. The admin said on the 16 of last month that he would make an update in the sites ann. He never did and he never replied again on the thread.

OP last active was 23/8 , from about 20 days , and I do not think he will come back , he just posted this post to advertise his site , if you want to earn Bitcoin as forum poster , stay in this forum and try to improve your skills , while you learn about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies , this forum is the best Bitcoin community .

Gives us more details what are your rates, minimum posts per day or week or month . Also try to discuss more so that we can really  know if we really can benefit from this one.

And if he is so busy that he after so many replies also cannot update thread with correct information about how much is the payment per post and more details then how will count all the posts and send payment I wonder, maybe he is active on the other forum he listed, anyone got paid ?

So did you made any posts and got paid from the owner ? I think if someone can vouch for him then he will get a lot more support from users as they know they are working for money.

I don't see OP's actively updating this one so i think this thread is dead since he is unattended and leave this thread without hes footstep, maybe he can't afford to do some nice promotion and thats the reason he sees this site has nothing good to do with, but maybe we should not closed hes doors maybe he just get busy in outside life thats why he's not active nowadays.

Actually new forums have to give users some incentive for doing work, because no ways you can expect a new user to join your forum leaving old forums without any personal interest. Once the forum goes good the admins stop paying money for the posts, its not a bad idea in my opinion.

I think there is nothing wrong as admin wants to check the posts and activity of user before paying him because see friend if he starts paying blindly without any point system or such then users will just join be active and ask for payment. He is not getting paid for user's registration instead he wants member that interact within forum.

I just visited the forum and it looks like numerous other new forums. It is a bitcoins discussion forum with maximum posts in Introductions this means that users are making posts just for money, I believe this way the forum will get dumped since users are just posting for money and the moment admin stops paying they will also stop.

There are some people do advertise their own newly bitcoin forum  the same with these one like bitcointalk.org but  they have difference because   MOD  advertise  their site only on gaining money only unlike on this forum that  we shared  learnings and ideas  and  members do offer  a job to someone  to gain money not just   on  posts itself.

Forum is really a great place to exchange knowledge by contributing and getting rewards. Already many of forum doing same ideology for running forums.
Bitcointalk is also one of great platform which gives vast information from experienced user to newbies.
