Title: Anyone happen to know if RX480 & HD5870 fans are interchangeable? Post by: GenTarkin on August 13, 2016, 10:42:17 PM I was just wondering if the sizes are physically similar enough to allow them to be swapped, more specifically a 5870 fan -> RX 480

It's not a "card model" issue as a general rule, it is a "card MANUFACTURER" issue normally. Even within the SAME manufacturer the fans will normally have changed quite a bit over THAT many generations. The fan connections might fit, there's only 2 or 3 of those in common usage on GPU cards.
