Title: Time for Litecoin has come to an end; it will be number 7 soon, which means DEAD
Post by: bitcoinlitcoinbtcltc on August 15, 2016, 02:04:07 PM
Currently no5 and it looks like ETH classic and DASH will surpass it very soon.

Which will make it no7 soon.

And all coins that are this far down the top-10 list, will NEVER NEVER make it back up.

Doesn't matter if the other coins are not legit/premined/other excuses Litecoin fanboys use.

Nothing will save LTC anymore.

Sub $3 before this month's end :). MARK MY WORDS.

LTC is 5 right now and ETC is 6. But we are going to see ETC back to third position with the next pump which should start soon since everytime BTC starts sinking ETC has become the best way to capitalize on it. ETH is shit and should be way lower than second place.

I'm surprised people care enough about Litecoin to make a new topic. People keep hoping for a Litecoin on Gox megapump when it his Coinbase. The sooner nonsense projects disappear, the better for crypto in general.

Litecoin will continue to do well because:

  • Capable of four times as many transactions as Bitcoin in a ten minute period. Frankly if payment processors had adopted Litecoin in the past year current Bitcoin block discussions would be irrelevant (and likely the price of both coins higher). Anyone who has watched these discussions understands the immediate advantage of a network with larger transactional capability.
  • Faster confirmation times. The only people who don't think this is important have never spent a single coin or they have patience that the average person does not possess.
  • The faster block time of litecoin reduces the risk of double spending attacks.
  • Anti-spam.
  • Fast well established network. Current Hashrate is 1,643 GH/s. Since scrypt is memory intensive it is known to be approximately 1000 times slower hardware wise in comparison to SHA256. Fair comparison to the Bitcoin network requires multiplying that hashrate by 1000 (1,643 TH/s). The fact is for most of Litecoins history the hashrate has been relatively high and secure. Those comparing it to the Bitcoin network without considering this 1k factor are either being disingenuous or just ignorant of the facts.
  • Continuous development look here at number of releases in past year: https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/releases
  • Upcoming new features and active development look here for whats happening in 2016:
    https://litecoinassociation.org/data/roadmap.pdf
  • Longevity. Many coins have temporarily eclipsed litecoin as they were marketed for the purpose of increasing the fiat accounts of a small group and emptying the accounts of new users. Unfortunately this has been detrimental to crypto-space in general.
  • Great community.
  • Fully supported by GoCoin a growing merchant payment processor used by thousands of merchants https://www.gocoin.com/ as well as other processors such as coinpayments, Asmoney, Alfacoins and Coinify
  • Liquidity. You can sell thousands and not crash the market. Maintains value. Look at the chart here indicating volume in the last 24 hours relative to other coins. http://cryptocoincharts.info/coins/graphicalComparison In fact volume has remained high since last June while maintaining a stable price.
  • The speed, liquidity and value of Litecoin is useful to traders seeking arbitrage opportunities between exchanges.
  • Soon to be added to coinbase.
  • Upcoming release to include a on-chain adaptive block size scaling solution. This will substantially increase the transactional capacity of Litecoin.
  • Fair release. In a crypto world of premined and ICO releases many appreciate this fact. The code was released well before the Genesis block was mined and everyone knew when it would be going live; therefore, individuals could anticipate and get their miners and software ready.
  • It's primary function is to be a cryptocurrency.
  • It will always maintain the integrity of the blockchain (no hard forks for special interests).
  • Security.

You've been spamming this for a few years. Litecoin has not continued to do well, in fact, it has been performing worse and worse, LOL.

By spamming do you mean that I post it once every time you start another negative Litecoin thread? At least my posts have content.

i really shock when i see the rate of DASH up until 0.024 in yesterday even its up until 0.025, its just in out of my prediction. i think the party of DASH is not over yet, i hope. and now, the rate is down a little, but who knows it will be up in 0.03. for LTC, i think its hard for them to get up like before, but if they are strong enough, i think they can reach at least 0.008 again.

This guy is spreading shilly posts trying to move the market down so he can get cheaper coins.  He will have posts about litecoin mooning when he wants it to pump (as he has done in the past), but that also does not move the market.
Bitcoinlitcoinbtcltc, please realize you DO NOT move the market, and you posting here is a waste of everyone's time.  We all know LTC is here to stay.

Yes, I also think litecoin is close to the end of its popularity, and that it is why it is no longer the second option of newcomers to the altcoin economy. For several years litecoin was called "the silver" coin in reference to its second place in importance, but it has been gradually displaced by new and more interesting options.

LTC's been around for a long time, i dont think it will fail or go away but anything is possible, etc, dash even eth are still rather new, ltc has years of trust but it is lagging on new features for sure  :)

I feel like there is more story than you are telling us.

He's either upside down in a trade or he's trying to acquire more cheap LTC. Wait for him to be PRO LTC again in December.

come back tomorrow. he or whoever else is using the account is gonna be pumping the hell out of it.

i'm really interested to see what becomes of litecoin. it's an alt you can point to that isn't a screwup, scam, premine or run by morons which is super rare. either that means it's gonna have a brighter future when people remember these facts or they'll carry on into alt hell until there's nothing left.
