Newegg had them but went out of stock right before I bought. They are back now but are like $130. I wanted to have all my MOBO the same. But you guys are right, I'll switch to the new gen. The H97 ann is on sale on newegg at 65$CAD after mail in rebate. Thanks for your offer. This card including RAM and CPU even at 7 GPU is less cost effective than the Asrock ones. I purchased a few in advance ;) They setup the same, so you wont feel out of your elements if you're used to H81. They have the same kinks, the same gpu enumeration order, behave the same way, etc. The differences (if you find any of them) are minor. Thanks! Did not know what ann was now know what it is referring to the anniversary version from AsRock. OK! Just getting my bearings in the mobo field and was interested in the mobo that can handle 7 GPU all at once and this one does not look like it can. Will keep searching using your advice! Thank you! ;) If you want to pay an extra 100$ for an additional slot... there's a few ones that work, but i'm, not familiar with them. And some of them do not support 7 GPU it just has 7 slots, but some limitation prevent them from running 7 at the same time. Same thing apply to 6 gpus boards some dont do 6 and even have problems running 5. Good luck in your search. TLDR: Make sure the board you're going to buy was reported to run all 7 without issues. |
