<< The Harvard historian Caroline Elkins stirred controversy with her work on the crushing of the Mau Mau uprising. But it laid the ground for a legal case that has transformed our view of Britain's past. >>

The luxury and prosperity we are witnessing in London and the other British cities are a direct result of 300 years of exploitation of third world countries by the British Empire. All this wealth must be confiscated and redistributed to the former colonies.

It's funny everyone is quick to bash the United States but in reality the British Empire has been around so much longer than the U.S. and has Quadruple the blood and Violence on it's hands compared to the U.S.

Most people ignore the best thing the British Empire did... the Magna Carta.

Compare the last 70 years of the UK and the USA especially history about wars and coup detats that they supported.

The British government is not capable of invading the third world countries on its own, unlike the Americans. The Brits have played their part during the NATO invasions of Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan, but their role was mostly providing support for the American troops. Britain is not an "Empire" anymore. It is just a Kingdom now.

The reason for Britain and America both becoming kingdoms under the rule of the U.N. is that the peoples of both Britain and America have become ignorant of their individual, personal strength against both governments, in the courts, because of the Magna Carta. If Americans and the English used their strength listed in the Magna Carta, they could easily remove any authority for their governments bringing them under any U.N. law whatsoever.

The people of both, America and Britain, don't like most of what their governments are doing. And if they used the Magna Carta (which is still lawfully active), coupled with all American and English Common Law, they could set their governments right down on their behinds, virtually deactivated. The ONLY reasons the people don't do this are, they don't know what strength they individually or collectively have over their governments, and besides this, they are a bunch of chickens.

If Britain was a ship, I would love it to sink  :D as long as I was away from it of course.
It stinks of treason from within all sectors of government and business they are combined together , the press is always filthy/lying sliding away from truth in its articles, the TV is no better, I do really despise my own country, no loyalty from me.

Churchill was the very first to use mass bombings on people blitzkrieg, I would take his statue down and melt it, along with the other so called statesmen.

I was really happy quite a few years ago, this happened to plenty of statues in my area, all were related to the slave trading.
No more of seeing them, and its now quite a pleasant area to walk in, this should happen all over the country imo.

It is not only the british empire. Many other western european nations did the same. France, netherlands, spain, portugal, etc. And so did the americans and others. But good luck with any talk of compensations. Or even admitting it happened after history is rewritten by the winners. Though stopping the exploitation now is probably a bigger concern.
