Any collateral? Without a collateral you can't get a loan that size (especially when your personal message says "need donation" complete with address).

Collateral, signed message from your oldest addy here, good and valid reason, smaller requested amount for this member account of yours...
Some of the "things" that you will need in order to have better chances to get funded.
If you dont or cant do those, i am betting that you will be soon red tagged... ::)

Anyway, i wish you good luck. :)

Seeing your PM set to a Need a donation
I wouldn't trust to give you any loan even with a collateral provided. I am assuming you have no plan on repaying.
Your private reason does not concern us if you can't give a proper collateral, you can't get a loan.

You are a member and you don't know that without collateral you cannot get the loan.
If you can provide a valid collateral then I can fund you.

Unfortunately for you, your account's worth is nowhere near 0.05BTC. Someone posted a link to a list of valid collateral above your post, you should read it.

If you are looking for a smaller amount, I would be willing to lend you .015 for your account as collateral.  If you have any other form of collateral, I would reconsider this.  Let me know and I will post my terms of acceptance.

Find other collaterals. Your BTCTalk isn't worth 0.05B. Mine isn't either, and if we need any lending, we have to provide a collateral at least as the same value as you need.

No, not at least the same value but at least 20% more of the amount that you ask for.
Its very difficult to find a lender that will give you a loan with collateral the same value with your requested amount.

If I wanted to obtain such an amount of BTC loan and couldn't provide collateral, I'd wrap the loan up into smaller, micro-loans from multiple members. For example, I'd consider lending a micro-loan for lulz. If I lost on lending you, I would miss a coffee and if I won, I'd drink a double next morning.

That is considered really shady and it doesn't work either because a lot of lender doesn't allow a person to have multiple loans at the same time. Your coffee example is also kinda off, because nobody gives 100% in interest.

You are still welcome you lend to him, but remember the risk is high without collateral.

Fortunately, a double coffee is only a bit more expensive than regular variant at my favourite place. But I agree, one should be honest with them when taking loans from multiple members and it makes finding lenders who accept high risk harder, but just like at gambling, I wouldn't put more money into loaning in this way than I can afford to lose. For me, it's like a game. I get excited to find out whether OP'd pay me back or run away.
