Title: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: BITDV on August 19, 2016, 05:39:39 PM https://i.imgur.com/Vy2iCD9.png https://altex.ws We are pleased to announce AltEx, formerly BTCPool.Exchange. As our platform has evolved along with our understanding of our user base, it became apparent we needed to look at the brand as a whole, btcpool.exchange was initially a mining service today were so much more than that, so we took the time to re-brand our platform, and were not even trying to hide our history, full disclosure is important. In the interests of full disclosure you can view our previous threads here for BTCPool.Exchange https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1073791.0 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1073788.0 Our loyal users know the struggles trials and tribbleations we've endured since we started the service, from a bad deal with a russian coder for the software to a long development gap and issues, but thats all changed, Since february we have been working hard on version X, it brings with it a new full time coding team, based in the UK and AU, hundreds of security fix's, performance improvements and a whole host of new features. New Features This is not a comprehensive feature update list, however we feel there worth special mention. -- Coin Voting & Insta List, Coin voting has been hugely popular although it hasnt driven alot of users to the site to date, partly due to our dated old look and the problems with the old platform, the new system will retain the voting by BTC but will add the option to place votes with the very coin you want to get listed, there will also be a brand new insta list feature, where for a fixed fee you can get any coin listed for a guaranteed 180 days. -- SockChat, brand new fully intergrated chat service no more 3rd party, finer control of users, there are no filters on chat your welcome to say anything you like, we will address this should it get out of hand, we firmly believe everyone is entitled to there own opinion. -- Improved Graphing and Statistics, we have performed miracles in terms of our stats and graphs whilst there still older am charts, we are working hard on StockCharts and HighCharts, you should start to see these in the coming weeks as the roll out begins, they are not active yet, as there is simply not enough data to produce a "complete" graph period. -- Dice and Bones games, just like satoshi bones or any other dice game, only we support any coin that's listed on the exchange, the system is proverbially fair, for dice the number 50 belongs to the house, a similar deal with bones where betting starts at less than 61k with 61,000 thru to 65,000 belonging to the house, we are working hard to add blackjack and poker to the system, and perhaps a game or two TV shows many moons ago, for example Price Is Right. -- Tipping (Vouchers) Some of you will remember our old voucher system, well that's gone because it never worked as intended not even salvaged we have a brand new tip system, allowing you to transfer or send coins to any registered user, in a matter of seconds, all with zero fees. -- Market Improvements All markets have had a lot of minor tweaks and changes to allow for faster order executions, orders are no longer executed on a cycle, when you place your order now, you automatically trigger the trade engine which will execute instantly if sufficient orders are in place. -- All New UI The biggest complaint has always been the CRAP website, to many cooks in the kitchen makes a mess and that's a prime example, the new site is superior in every single way, will scale out better into the future and offer a seamless experience rather than something that is seriously clunky and counter intuitive. == API - yes at long last we've completed a very basic API, we need your feedback here to expand and improve, we want to build the most comprehensive API out there, and do so securely, so if you would like to see additional calls get in touch explain what you want if we feel its viable every effort will be made to implement it. -- Stake We have enabled staking on all of our wallets, we enabled this on 16th 08 2016, in the coming weeks users will start to notice daily balance updates as stakes are counted an distributed on a very simple premise, every 24 hours stakes are counted and distributed per coin per user and paid based on your current balance, for clarity, no payments under 1 whole coin will be made, so if you have a dust balance you wont earn stake sorry, this feature will not be on or off, its on for everyone at all times, altex charge a fee for processing stake as you can imagine its rather intensive managing 50 wallets that stake thousands of times a day. THIS FEATURE IS NOT ACTIVE, STAKES ARE BEING TRACKED HOWEVER, as we prove each part of the process will move along, all stakes earned in the mean time will be counted and manually added to a given market at the lowest possible price of 0.00000001 each so everyone has a chance of getting themselves some good deals. Welcome everyone to Altex where we basically pay you to trade with us (Note most users will find there stake earnings mean trading becomes essentially ZERO FEE) Future Updates Development will never stop and now were in our stride you can expect alot of changes and improvements, Altex will offer more than just exchange services as time progresses, with many new automated build services. User Verification We are opening up initial verification systems and Fiat markets, YOU DO NOT NEED TO COMPLETE verification, unless you want to trade in fiat currencies or future fiat withdrawals. Residents of United Kingdom (Including B,O,T) and Residents of Australia and New Zealand will be able to complete verification, please note verification can take up to 7 days. A side note, we reserve the right to Cancel or Demand your verification / re-verification at any time, this is done at random and is in place to protect you, not take anything from you. Account Safety Any user storing excessive coin qtys on our platform may find there account banned, this is not to take your coins but prevent you from using our services, we've set a very very high threshold, and should you be banned, we will contact you by registered email, and arrange for you to access your account to withdraw your balances, untill you come under the threshold, there's no limit to temporary storage of coins, but any balance that's excessive for more than 72 hours will trigger this action [Were telling you upfront and here in the interest of full disclosure as it could easily be misinterpreted. And Thanks We owe a huge thanks to StakeEngine, this guys provide the core engine of our exchange, and they do so at little to no cost to us, in return we prove the platform, as the premier user, we get everything first and a head up in the features markets, StakeEngnie is a multi purpose platform, you can find more information by contacting Paul at mp hosting who has an exclusive deal with them for the next 2 years to provide the platform, anyone can purchase this along with its MANY MANY MANY features, its far more than just an exchange, automated wallet builders, online web based Gitan Builder, a web wallet service and much much much more. https://i.imgur.com/Vy2iCD9.png https://altex.ws We hope you all enjoy our new platform, and will get involved in helping us improve it even further, we welcome all your feed back the good and the bad and ask that all users be as honest as possible like were being, if you have an issue contact us, resolution can take upto a day, so before you run off they stole this and that PLEASE give us the time were asking for to investigate and resolve it first. Thank you all for your time we look forward to seeing you there soon https://www.altex.ws https://www.altex.ws/help/api -- > Basic API Docs https://www.altex.ws/Home --> Temporary landing page with a comprehensive update list. ATTENTION!! You will need to move your balances from the old BTCPOOL to AltEx unfortunately due to some legacy issues we are unable to re-use the existing database. BTCPool will remain available for at least 60 days to allow you to move your balances over, the markets on BTCPool have been suspended you will get a blank page unless you have open orders in which case youll be asked to cancel them https://altex.ws GAMES The first game is DICE https://altex.ws/Games/Dice this is found under the Currency Games tab found on the menu on the left hand side of your screen https://i.imgur.com/IAoAGqJ.png ]This is a basic Hi/Low game Low = all number 49 and under and Hi = all numbers 51 and up, you basically pick whether you want to bet on low numbers or Hi numbers, 50 is owned by the exchange!! For picking the correct HI or Low the payout is 1.25x the bet that you put up and there is a max cap on how much can be bet per game, all coins on the exchange can be used to play Dice!! The Second game is called BONES this is based on Satoshi Bones, were you bet on the roll being under a certain number. https://i.imgur.com/vGVEwya.png In this game you decide what the number will be lower than, lower the number you think it will be that you bet on if you win the payout multiplier is higher, you can bet BTC/LTC/DASH and MUE at the moment, we will be adding more currencies to this in the near future! The 3rd game you will find under the Currency games tab , we call it POT OF GOLD!! https://i.imgur.com/Va5NJO3.png With this game you pay 0.0025 btc and a random number is generated if it matches the selected number which is 192 , you win everything in the pot, if its incorrect the pot grows and keeps growing until someone wins it. If you win it is added to you balance immediately -10% which is added to the APT weekly payout!! All profits from the gaming section is added to the weekly APT payout for all people holding Altex Profit Tokens (APT).. Altex Profit Token (APT) Alot of people have asked about APT so here is the rundown on it.. AltEx Profit Token Information APT is a mechanism to power progress and give you the chance to earn a regular payment and share of the profits we make. In total there are 1,000,000 Profit Tokens, this supply number is fixed and represents 100% of the Exchanges profits, 400,000 Coins are made available by this system and by means of promotions will eventually be in the hands of the community at large, whilst the other 600,000 coins are divided between the owners and operators of the AltEx Platform, meaning we get paid by the very system you get paid by. Each week we total up the profits which are tracked in real time, and perform some simple maths, we divide the total of each coins profit by the total number of tokens, and then pay you based on the tokens you own, nice simple efficient and easy for everyone who owns to token to track and understand, this method is fully automated as well so payments will happen as regular as clockwork. Unpaid Rounds From time to time rounds may go unpaid, but don't be alarmed, the reason is insufficient coins to divide, the minimum payout is currently set to 0.00000001 and thus when we divide profits by tokens and its less than this, the job is aborted and run the following month until its paid We recognise and understand some coins will not work particularly well, or could take months to earn a payout, usually coins with ultra limited total coins, should this be the case, or it becomes a problem, we will make some changes and pay those coins directly in BTC instead. These can be bought on the exchange in its own market with a 0.2% trading fee , this can be traded like any other coin on the exchange and every week earnings from everything mentioned above are distributed directly to you account balance.. Any questions please come to the exchange and have a chat in the chatbox..[/center] Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: BITDV on August 26, 2016, 09:29:27 AM OMG so sorry guys I just realised that i was posting on the other thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1590781.0

This is the draft of our ICO policy ICO rules Stage 1 The coin team must provide the wallet source code so we can compile and test it and receive the ICO premine transfer. The coin team must provide the coin logo for listing. Forum thread, website and block explorer links are preferrable. ICO ending time should be strictly stated in coin forum thread or other public information source. We will end ICO exactly at stated ending time. Wallet and its blockchain or asset has to be fully functional at the moment of ICO end as we have to open it for deposits and withdrawals for our traders. AltEx will set up and control a account for running of the ICO and the deposit and holding of ICO coins and funds gathered for the ICO. options: 1 - 0% buy wall (15% fee (on successful ICO completion of stage 2) + 0.4 btc prepay (non refundable)) as an option but not 100% with this option!! 2 - 25% buy wall (12.5% fee (on successful ICO completion of stage 2) + 0.3 btc prepay (non refundable)) 3 - 50% buy wall (10% fee (on successful ICO completion of stage 2) + 0.2 btc prepay (non refundable)) 4 - 75% buy wall (7.5% fee (on successful ICO completion of stage 2) + 0.1 btc prepay (non refundable)) 5 - 100% buy wall (5% fee (on successful ICO completion of stage 2)) During ICO Stage 1 there will be no trade fee on ICO coins. Stage 2 Provided that the ICO is successful, if there were no other conditions declared publicly AltEx will freeze the ICO proceeds for 5 days in order to achieve the following: verify blockchain & network stability and adherence to the stated ICO/coin parameters. We will enable the market (at normal trading fee) and withdrawal and deposits of ICO coins. After the successful completion the above requirements, at the end of the 5 day period, AltEx will hand over control of the funds to the coin developer. If any network or wallet problems arise during this 5 day trial period, the developers have until the end of this trial period to rectify them. If problems persist at the end of the 5 day trial period, Altex will refund the investors using the ICO proceeds by placing a 100% buy wall with ICO funds and consider the ICO failed and cancelled. Explorer URL should be announced by the end of the 5 day of holding period. All unsold coins will be burned by AltEx. Due to recent scams and other negative events, AltEx does not endorse or vouch for coin developers. There is no way to verify a developer's identity or to prosecute an individual or team that abandons the projects or otherwise does not adhere to the stated ICO/coin terms without having a substantial legal infrastructure which we can not provide. All people participating in the ICO should always do there own due diligance on all potential coins, this is not AltEx's responsibility!! Although it were a little slow when i opened it, i think you must fix it becomes fast. Thanks for your feedback CraigWright, the slow is a little on the slow side right now simply because full debugging is enabled, meaning just about every action and reaction is logged to and from the system, this means the sites a bit slower it has to work much harder to do the same work, as the bugs become less, and were clearing them out at a vast rate, we can turn full debugging off for alot of the platform, only maining debugging on essential code or critical code. Once debuggers are unloaded and disabled, you will see a SIGNIFICANT performance increase, along with full cloudflare CDN Delivery we hope to reduce to loading times down to < 500ms , like everything we are walking before we run, enable a new feature, debug it, enable, debug, rinse and repeat :-) Hope this helps you understand why its a little slow at the moment Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: StakeEngine on September 04, 2016, 03:05:52 PM Weve unloaded some of the debuggers and pushed a change set.

Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: BITDV on September 06, 2016, 07:36:15 AM Change Log :-:
After a week or so time to report back, the following changes have now been applied. Chat Bubbles Further Graph Refinements Pot of Gold / New Game Changes to DICE Changes to Bones Better gaming logging. Fixed Hundreds of minor html css and JS Bugs Updates on Stake Tracking Tracking stake has started of really well, weve made a few refinements to the whole process, we will start the testing of payouts this week, unfortunately were not staking as often as we hoped would be the case for the test, so we dont have alot of to work with, stake payments in initial rounds will be low. Once weve had a few payout rounds and cleanups Coin Voting Online and enabled and tacking votes perfectly InstaList framework. Our insta list framework provides the means for us to deploy any coin instantly without intervention from us, in dry runs it has performed perfectly, when building autogen.sh, not all coins though have this and older build methods have proven a headache, in order for instalist to work for a given coin IT MUST Build cleanly, no missing files or permissions etc. InstaList is not a way people can exploit and install things to our servers, it dont work like that when we list a coin for voting we provide several security checks and information, the coin must have been cleared by before the listing will be auto deployed ICO Platform This is its final few days of devolopment testing and tweeking, also makes use of our instalist tools to open markets etc after ICO are successfull, so no waiting for us, if a listing ends at mid day exactly, the markets will be available less than 60 seconds later Pay Per Service. This is unique service that we cant find anywhere else, all services incure fees so pay attention to them, and follow all information available, some of these new services are as follows. MiniStore :-: Verified users can gain the ability to sell products and or services and collect payments for products immediatly, each verified user will have to increase there "Platform Trust" to list higher prices, there are limmits in BTC that you can sell per month so please pay attention. Gitan Builder :-: Pay a fee provide the github and required format and thats it, After about 30mins. Gitan Builder builds wallet, any wallet thats gitan compatible infact, you can build any versions you like, or close your favorite coin, change its artworks etc and have your own fully compliant fully featured wallets. Gitan builds are built fast, the 30mins is just a safe number, we build with 64 Threads over 32Cores for your convienance The Merchant Gateway. Merchant API like no other, fully featured and includes full call back, were looking for testers, willing to give us a try and help us build the framework to support multiple types of store and product, right now the only out of the box solution we offer is for WHMCS< and this is going thru final validation Thats about is, once the above is complete another week or so, the beta phase will be ending, and promotional materials will be made available as we start looking to market our creation Thanks SE Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: BITDV on September 06, 2016, 07:37:41 AM Well, i like this is exchange and i've looked the website, although i don't yet making account on there. Well we decided on .ws cause it stands for website , so at the moment no we arent looking at changing it , yeah its different , but we want to be different from all other exchanges out there , we want to be like a hub , much more than just an exchange !! Ammounts of Less than 0.0005 BTC will not be counted as a vote Automatic Listing will occure after 500 votes (or Zero Point Two Five Zero Bitcoin), All coins that make it onto the exchange by way of voting will have there market secured for at least 90 days. Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: BITDV on September 07, 2016, 06:59:36 AM Now in order for your balances to stake and be tracked they must be on flagged as staking, all addresses in use before 23:00 GMT on September 6th are not tracking, to enable tracking and payouts, you need to basicly
generate a new deposit address and then send your coins to that address. Testing went exceptionally well, we will enable the payout processor a few coins at a time, so each day more and more coins will be processed in the run, untill eventually midnight everynight becomes the magic number. We hope yall enjoy this feature SE All new users and new addresses after 2300 are being tracked you dont need to do anything :-) Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: BITDV on September 07, 2016, 09:21:37 AM Deposits and Withdrawals are disabled whilst we make some processor updates we expect this to take upto a day plz be paitent DO NOT DEPOSIT ANY COINS or you risk them going untracked Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: BITDV on September 08, 2016, 12:27:52 PM Just an update for you all this wonderfull rainy Thursday morning, after a long ass day of migrations and such, were almost done folks a few more hours and well be all good to go!! Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: BITDV on September 21, 2016, 01:00:39 PM Well after many months of development and trial and error, we are coming to a point were we will be moving from Beta stage to Live launch and have been thinking of a way to promote our exchange platform and also give to members. After much discussion between myself and my partner we have come up with the following : We have designed a in house token called Altex Profit Token (APT for short) , there are in total 1 million tokens which represents 100% of the profit pool of Altex. 60% of these tokens will be held by the partners of Altex as exchange revenue. The other 40% 400,000 tokens will be available to users and the public and all money raised will be used to improve the platform for the benefit of all user's. There will never be more than 40% available to the public. So what will happen is all funds raised that come into the exchange , from trade fees, coin votes, ICO's and from gaming will all go into a central pool and every week this will be distributed to all holders of APT, this will be in the form of the actual fee that was generated, it could be btc, doge or any other coin that a fee was generated with , this will be placed directly into the account holders balance for them to do as they wish with, withdraw, trade or whatever. APT cannot be withdrawn from the exchange platform, there is a dedicated market for buying and selling and this market will always have a 0% trading fee. Signature Campaign Details We have set aside 50,000 APT for Bounties and advertising campaigns. The bounty for the signature campaign will be paid out on a weekly basis. The signature must be displayed for the entire week(yes we will be checking) To register you must send us your username on the exchange(so we know where to send APT to) in a message to my account on BitcoinTalk!! This is open to Full Members, Member's, Senior Members, Hero Members and Legendary Members.

Today i thought i would post a bit about some of the features within Altex.ws.. GAMES The first game is DICE https://altex.ws/Games/Dice this is found under the Currency Games tab found on the menu on the left hand side of your screen https://i.imgur.com/IAoAGqJ.png ]This is a basic Hi/Low game Low = all number 49 and under and Hi = all numbers 51 and up, you basically pick whether you want to bet on low numbers or Hi numbers, 50 is owned by the exchange!! Any questions please come to the exchange and have a chat in the chatbox.. Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: BITDV on September 26, 2016, 12:54:27 PM We have placed a faucet up you join and can claim 10 APT once , we will be adding more faucets soon !!

Nice. Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: BITDV on September 27, 2016, 01:24:51 PM You just lowered the signature payouts? What are you talking about lowered the signature fees??Nice. If your talking about the faucet payouts , they have nothing to do with the signature payouts and they havent changed the amount and faucets payout only once per account , signature/avatar payout weekly as long as they run !! Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: StakeEngine on September 27, 2016, 01:32:14 PM You just lowered the signature payouts? Nice. I think you are deeply confused dear fellow Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: freebutcaged on September 29, 2016, 09:33:15 AM I see in this thread payouts for the ranks are different from signature campaign thread payouts like here you say 20APT weekly for full members while in other thread it's 40APT.
Also wanted to know that what makes people to trade at your site when everything they need is already being provided to them in services such as for example: cryptopia and yobit not to mention the big and major exchanges like ccex, polo, bitrex, etc. I don't think the design or your hard work going to do much in convincing people to leave the already well established exchanges and join yours, however I believe if you spend some from pocket and sustain a competition with yobit in terms of advertising for long term then it might be possible for you but very challenging. We are talking about income as much as 3 or 4 BTC a day in fees earnings though after 2 or 3 months of heavy pocket spending. If you really want to earn 4 BTC daily after 2 months then you seriously need to at least spend 0.5BTC just to advertise daily starting from now. Ok what it says on the official sig/avatar thread is what it is and we realise it takes time and there are more features coming that no one has , they will be revealed when we have finished testing them fully, as for advertising , that is coming , we have been at this building it for 2 years , and the people involved have many many years experience in coding/security/cryptos and trading , so be assured the platform will function as we want and will have features to make is a safe and enjoyable experience. Thank you for your concerns mate, but we are following our timetable and have everything at hand !! The fee thing will be fixed, i hadnt noticed that. 2. Cryptopia Yobit whatever, there outright exchanges, we will soon be offering alot more than just an exchange, if you read the posts, youd know that, were no intrested in making anyone leave another service, we want people to come and take a look, if they like what they see they will trade, you dont steal an audiance mate you build one, along with a community, and you do that with hard work and effort 3. Spend some from our own pockets, who do you think pays for the hosting, the software the coders and everything else??? 3 years in weve spent almost $50,000 of our own money already, weve spent more than $20,000 on our new platform, and we all work aswell 9 to 5. This aint every gonna be a get rich quick scheme, its a long term investment, its a long term project, we build update evaluate, weve come such along way from 3 where we was its not even funny. 4. No your talking about income of 3 or 4 BTC a day in fees, weve never mentioned how much we hope to make, it dont matter to us what we make, if we personally, break even id take that right now, im so not concerned about my earnings, i aint even taking my cut of the apt earnings, they will stay in the pot for the users. 2 Months, another arbirary timeline, weve never mentioned where we wanna be in 2 months, and it aint there. In the next 2 months wed take 2500 new user signups and consider that decent progress. You dont walk before you run You dont assume, it makes ass out of you and me NASA Didnt just put a man on the moon Physisits didnt just invent and explode the nuclear warhead you spend your money, you build, you test, you evolve, you check, you recheck, only then do you send man to the moon, denonate a nuke, you walk before you run Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: BITDV on September 30, 2016, 09:33:35 PM MORE THAN JUST AN EXCHANGE https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FVy2iCD9.png%26t%3D569%26c%3D_0Ouo-FWdFtZ1A&t=569&c=_eUj8yEIxIVYIg Well we just did our first profit payout for all APT Holders . A update for you all after week one. Several bugs have been found and fixed, in almost all cases reporters were rewarded for there troubbles, almost all have been fixed and the system is running nicely. Some statistics for you all, APT Week 1 :-: Total BTC Value of Payouts 0.10 BTC APT Week 1 :-: Total Users Paid in Round 19 APT Week 1 :-: Total Unpaid Users in Round 0 APT Week 1 :-: Order Count in Round - 119 with Fee Registered Users - 128 Confirmed Registered Users - 105 Active Users - 105 Signature Campain Users Total :-: Signature Campain Payout Total :-: Some thoughts - well were rather chipper with ourselfs, its been productive, uptake has been a bit faster than expected one the whole users are reporting posative experiances, a few "niggles" about the way data is displayed, but on the whole its been a great first week for us, well take that all day everyday and twice on sunday thanks. So thank you to those who have taken the time to help visit chat etc Wed better set some Goals For October so here they are, by the end of october heres where wed like to been 1000 Registered/Active Users 1 BTC In generated Fees 75 Coins 150 Markets Fiat Markets Opened Now onto a slighty worrying devolopment, we have found the first big bug, that has resulted in MINOR, coin loss, a user was able to exploit a call on the faucets and get more coins than they was entitled to, they attempted to reportert this to use, but before we had a chance to complete the investigation, said user cashed out for a whopping monster total of 0.03 BTC, i have already replaced this from my own coin supplys, so theres no need to panic. Now this is important for everyone else who finds bugs, whilst bug hunting is usually done for the good of others, the moment you put a withdraw request for those coins it become theft, and wont be tollerated. The irony in this case here is they got 0.03 BTC from the platform, and i would have personally paid them 1,000 APT, Worth way more than what they got, so Epic Win for the assailant there. Whilst incidents like this are totally undesirable, and looking at the way exchanges deal with these incidents in the past, we feel it better to just be honest with our auidence at large, the user in quiestion has been banned from the software, and we will monitor this situation very carefully, the faucets are offline untill further notice (should only be a day), the BitCoin that was removed from the exchange 0.03 BTC has been replaced from my own Reserves, No user balances were touched, the incident was between the faucets and our distribution user, so the coins taken were our own to begin with (hopefully that makes some sence). So there it is folks, a good week from where were sat. Let us know what you think, how you think we can improve, if you have questions about the "incident" just fire away, lets get you guys more of what you want and less of what you dont. Oh one other thing Features launching this month Community Store Game Token API ( A kind of what most of you know as steam ) Additional Faucets Some New Games (I finished them at last) PostNPay :-: A bit like steamit Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: StakeEngine on October 03, 2016, 03:17:32 PM The "incident" is now resolved, funds were returned.

Also (and ill let you know when) once the last of the framework is complete, there will be a dev pause and a bug bounty program run, for everything from spelling mistakes to other things, so get your lists ready im sure many of you have the odd niggle or slight change you think would be good. you will be rewarded APT, on a fixed Severity Scale, Severity 1 Is critial, 1000 APT down to Severity 5 (visual) which is 20, and when reporting spelling we wont pay per word, but per page could be done Smiley Any other questions shout. Some people are experianceing a login issue were working to resolve it, in the mean time you may need to clear your browser cookies and history, this will help with your login requests, DevTeam is currently working on a more permentant solution and is the result of last weeks crash, any tokens your browsers holding wont be valid since the crash. If you still experience the error hang tight, it will soon be resolved, there will be a notice on the exchange once its resolved. Sorry for the issues here, but as we mentioned before all new hardware is in place and migration to it is underway, so hopefully the issues of the last week will kindly piss of to another server that has nada to do with us hehe. Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: BITDV on November 13, 2016, 01:40:52 PM Hi All, a quick update from the devteam for you all.
As we knows the cracks are showing, now the milage is racking up were starting to see what would otherwise be minor issues causing nock on problems, rather than rush to fix some of them, ive been sat in a cold damp dark room watching things happen in real time and understanding these problems much deeper. Its becoming aparant our code in areas is excessive, and coupled with the design overall its what you might call lazy, it takes to long to complete and delays other tasks, which has a nock on effect. Another issue is slow returns from the database, and even slower writes to the database. In short despite our recent major hardware upgrade were running out of the things we need most, so the changes have been made, and deploying them will take a little time but heres what you need to know Right now "StakeEngine" was a single application, this is no longer the case, we have separated out about 80% of the code to a brand new Application Layer affecitonatly called the StakeEngine Continous Execution Application Layer, this layer removes a ton of code from the primary application, all its logic, and every last ounce of jobs that have to execute. The frontend will now do nothing more than serv data. The application layer is websocket driven, and independent, no longer are all jobs executed to a specific schedule, they are executed continuously, without constraint (this has accounted for a 480% overall performance increase) Your talking a lot about performance issues, when the simple things done work!!!!! Quite right, but in this case the performance issues and "fat" code in some area are the direct cause of those issues, with sechuled jobs not finishing on time or in sequence errors are happening, or processing is starting out of sequence meaning data it depends on hasn't yet been prepaird etc. I expect almost every major issue to just vanish, a quick list for you all The withdrawals page, i know theres a bug in there, your being returned to an invalid page, this will be resolved in this window. StakePayments will get slowed down to 6hour rounds, same with APT. All wallets will be restarted and audited (updated as needed as well) 2 new IIS FrontEnds a 32Ghz Application Layer 2 New Database Servers Several hundred minor changes and tweeks, improved bundles, improved javascript some updated frameworks new features, and game updates There will be an 8 hour window startomg fro, say 18:00 gmt until 00:00 gmt Title: Re: [ANN] AltEx The Altcoin Exchange (formerly BTCPool.Exchange) Post by: pjcltd on January 06, 2017, 01:26:54 PM I need to withdraw coin today. You are working now,or all, forget about them. ???
