I am new to the board but have been admiring it for months now. I am very interested in getting more bitcoins and would like to trade my silver eagles for them. I am in the process of setting up a website to auction off my own silver (I currently use ebay, but hate it) and would like some feedback for those that have time to answer and or may be interested. I also have 400 1942-1945 Jefferson Wartime nickels. I'm very open to suggestion, so please let me know what you all think! Have a great afternoon and feel free to ask any questions. right now on mtgox 1 btc = $76.79 1 oz ag = $28.69 that's about 2.67 silver eagles per btc at silver electronic spot prices. With Silver being at 28.77, charging a total of 31.77. Plus calculating insured shipping costs as well of roughly another $2.50/single eagle. Shipping costs would be accurate and go up for actual weight, etc. using USPS.
So if you got a roll of 20, I wouldn't charge per coin for shipping, rather the exact cost to ship the roll to your zipcode. I'm not trying to be stingy on "fee's" but would simply like to pass on the shipping charges and get the premium I originally payed per eagle. My eagles came from MONEX and I got a monster box of 500 oz's and 22 other rolls of eagles. My nickels are in plastic tubes of 40. I also have about 150 airtite containers that I would ship single eagle coins in to protect the coin.
