This is kind of like ICONOMI. There are key differences though to Cryptodex, including both an extensive education portal to learn about cryptocurrencies, and many iterations of pools that are based on broader concepts that the cryptospace is solving.

For example, Cryptodex will have a specific pool for smart contract based platforms, and after backing a pool, the education portal opens which allows for the user to gain deep insight to each of the altcoins in that pool.

Good question! It's also important to remember that there is LOTS of room in the "mass adoption space". We actually hope that we can partner with ICONOMI on some things if they are open to it. Much room for collaboration  :)

The ICO is scheduled for October 20th. Cryptodex will differentiate itself by providing a prototype of the application a few days BEFORE the token launch begins. We believe that having a tangible product is essential to acquire the trust of our users. We also will be providing financial models (which prove the inherent value in our token), a pitch deck, business plan, etc to all serious backers who want to be involved at a larger scale.

Thanks for the comment @MarkWi1son! Our intention is to facilitate the process of mass adoption by both providing opportunities to get involved in the space, and also a centralized hub to learn about each of the emerging currencies/assets.

What % of tokens are you going to hold vs giving out to investors?

I will be doing the main due dilligence on the coins that are added to the platform - so I hope that is going to help alot :)

Portugese is already covered, we are working on a bounty campaign right now.

We will be releasing 20% of the tokens at our first token launch. However there will most likely be a secondary and tertiary crowdsale at 10% each. So, in time, there will be at least 40% publicly sold.

More will be available over time as well. Details on the other pieces will be released soon! Also a more visual version of the breakdown will be available in less than a week on our token launch landing page.

Yes there will be rounds of crowdfunding - this structure has been developed to ensure people can get in early and later. Obviously later participants have to buy in at a higher rate.

What will be included in the portfolio?

I am performing most of the due dilligence for the portfolios. I cannot give you a strict idea of it now but once the platform will release that information will be available. The due dilligence and picking of coins is going to be one of the most important aspects of the platform. So I am working heavily on that now and through my experience it will be positive because I will make it the safest environment as possible.

Statdude, while what our pools are comprised of is obviously a large component, it is also important to be aware that Cryptodex's structure is quite unique. There are many separate opportunities on the platform, and the platform itself has a lot of value inherently due to its structure. When the whitepaper is released (just a few finishing touches over the next couple days), everything will be much more clear :)
