Title: Which coin has the lowest transaction fees as it scales?
Post by: annette786 on March 27, 2013, 02:44:10 AM
Which coin has the lowest transaction fees as it scales?  Is there a coin that will eventually be able to do true micro-transactions.... like for $.0001?

Kindly expand on this.  The stuff I read centers around demurrage.  Thanks.

Freicoin is the goose that lays the largest golden eggs in perpetuity. The miners (egg collectors) will do whatever it takes to keep this goose healthy. :)

Demurrage will soon function as an indirect tx fee subsidy with 5% of the coins transferred from holders to miners every year. This is an important motivation for miners to follow the devs in any necessary changes to keep tx fees low.

Transaction fees in DevCoin work out pretty cheap in dollar terms.

PPCoin and NVC will have the lowest transaction fees in the long term, as they don't need the fees for network security.
