Title: Help! How can I sign a tx in Electrum 2FA using two private keys?
Post by: MontyK on August 23, 2016, 02:34:56 AM
I made a big boo boo.  I sent AMP and Synereo from Omni to Electrum with 2FA enabled.  Now I can't send them back because OMNI does not support 2FA.

Anyway, I have a work around (I think) but it requires that I sign my tx with two private keys, both of which I have in my electrum wallet.  Can anyone help me.  How can I sign a tx in electrum with two keys?

As far as I understand you hold 2 of 3 private keys in the 2FA setup.

One is with your wallet + passphrase, the other is your seed.

I think the easiest way to do this would be to import the seed in a new (non 2FA) wallet and just send the coins from there. You may want to create a new 2FA wallet afterwards if you are afraid of the seed being exposed at that point.
