Title: Mineum Collateralize'd btc loan
Post by: TheDR on August 24, 2016, 09:27:56 PM
I have nearly 2% of the total Mineum supply. They pay investor returns to everyone who has 10k+ registered with them monthly. They just payed their first one. I talk with the co-founders regularly and expect the returns to grow exponentially next few months. I would like to offer some of my MNM for btc loan to acquire more and pay a small bill and also a little spending.

I wonder if bitrated or something could be arbitrator cause I would want to be able to sleep at night.

Anyway If I was assured I be willing to use 100k of my Mineum for best offer btc loan to be payed back with best offer interest.

I need upto 90 days and interest can be fairly high. Though I plan to payback early. If there is a trusted escrow and anyone willing to make this lend.

Sincerely,
Daniel Ray Waters Hazelton Ortiz

it is difficult to make offer, when mnm daily trade volume below 0.05BTC total,
let alone a long period of time,
so about what interest we can talk?

That makes no sense.  You are giving up MNM to buy more MNM but also pay interest?

Don't you realize that is a losing proposition???

Yes it is. But bittrex is being pursued by team and higher volume will probably materialize as payouts get bigger.

As for interest I am negotiable on it as long as I believe it's profitable for me within loan timespan.

I might be a little early in trying to use this asset as collateral.

bittrex? I not see this coin in list.
So in any case I can give 1BTC for one month with 10% interest, coin must be stored by me.

I appreciate the offer thank you. But it is probably in my best interest to hold out until the next investors return one month from now it is going to be almost double. (already confirmed) The price almost certainly will be better. I am still listening to this channel just in case I see an offer tempting enough.

As for 10% a month interest I could live with it. But only one month to payback is difficult in this case and I have decided 2 btc is bottom for me atm.

you have favorable trust rating. Honestly I could use the funds would you accept 80k for collateral and you take good care of them until I came back for them. Also before I started the loan 30 days I probably want to wait til a few days from now to give enough time for appreciation following next payout.

It's a stretch for me though without third party escrow and for only one bitcoin to send out so many MNM. still thinking about it actually
It's also a stretch for the other end with insufficient volume and support currently for MNM

unfortunately, I can offer only this, and with rule that if the value of the collateral falls below 110% of the principle then I would have the right  to sell the collateral , and if that was not enough to cover the Loan +interest(It is very likely, to such trade volume), you remain an obligation to cover the difference.
I do not want to pocket your coins, these terms and conditions to ensure that it would be useful to repay the loan.

Okay I will wait til the market develops more to acquire a loan. I definitely would not want to be liquidated out of mineum because someone sold out and price was temporally lowered.

But I really do appreciate you giving me the option. :-)

Mineum is getting a data center on DEC 1. I still have 133,000 MNM I want to hold until Jan 23 the following investor return. But I could use some funding if I was offered 3 bitcoin loan I would pay back 4 within 99 days expecting the price of the collateral to improve.

Wouldn't it be better for me to buy MNM and hold instead of lending to you so you can buy more MNM?

Because of the stability of this coin, the loan you are asking for is not worth the collateral.  I will give you 1 BTC for 15% per month with your collateral, 90 day term, with the term that if it drops below .0000125, I can liquidate to protect my interest.

This has been offered multiple times to the OP in the past and he rejected it almost all of the time.

If you can explain more about what you plan to do with the invested funds I might be able to invest with you.

I would much rather borrow in "dollars"(Federal Reserve) notes because how surprised would you be to see an enormous rise in bitcoin prices at almost any time. If two weeks from now bitcoin was suddenly $10,000 each would it really be a huge shock?

But the funding I was fishing for is not extremely necessary I should just chill for now.
I have multiple incomes but am in a dry spot currently I have everything needed to survive though.

I am also thinking to set up a 2 petabit safecoin farm when that releases and it will have about a gigabyte a sec connection. I have a technician that can create a series of virtual servers to take advantage of the lottery style reward system. I want to start that with at least three thousand+ dollars so it can at a minimum run for two months on OVH storage servers. I should come up with that on my own unless Maidsafe's safecoin suddenly become ready for farming.
