So f2pool is speculating that one day they can make btc classic valuable. Basically you are digging in a copper mine (btc classic) and being paid from a gold mine (btc) so if copper ever goes way up in price the owners of the pool score since they pay you in gold. The reason why you made 7 blocks is no one mines that coin much at all so blocks are easy to earn.
