Thoughts?

I'd like to have multiple addresses. One can be compromised and for different strategies I'd like to use different addresses so I can have more control.

I prefer having the option of creating new deposit addresses. It's a big plus in terms of security. At least I get the assurance that my money gets to where it's supposed to. It's always better to have options. And it's an extra layer of security.

If it is like moneypot I would like to choose the permanent one to hold everything in one and later for the apps I will keep on changing them after making one deposit

I think it depends; the feature to create a new deposit address if you want is definitely nice, but for convenience, I'd prefer a permanent deposit address, as I find the sites that generate a new deposit address every time annoying.

My suggestion would be to have the feature to create new deposit addresses, but make them manual instead of automatic. This way, you can appeal to both sides, convenience and security.

However, I like the current moneypot system.

I think ideal solution should be to has both. And let people decide if they want to deposit money to fixed address or create new address every time.
But when only one option is possible I would like to have multiple fresh addresses generated every time I deposit.
This is the best option to keep my privacy safe as one address deposits can be tracked easily.

Technically speaking, cryptos are meant to use a separate address for every single payment (even if someone sends you multiple payments). That said, it's a little bit of a hassle and very inconvenient to do so. I personally prefer to use one address.

I prefer having one fixed deposit address always, because we don't need to check our deposit address everytime we want deposit and it will become a problem if someone rarely check his deposit address.

Most sites will let you reuse old addresses, even if they don't show up on your account anymore. This is on a case by case basis, but I've only found a couple that don't.

Well it should be a habit of yours anyway.
You want to double check deposit/withdraw addresses, always. As you might know there is kind of malware/virus that your machine can be infected with.
This virus can change every address you are pasting from your wallet into fake one so hacker will receive BTC you send.

This is one of the reason I don't use sites with auto-generated deposit addresses, security is one thing for this feature, but I also find it stressful to copy-paste different addresses.

I am using many gambling sites for some time and like to use multiple deposit addresses because these are safe for me and I have never any problem in this method

I prefer multiple deposit addresses for security, people can't track our deposits if they are tracking the deposit address's transaction.

Multiple addresses is an advantage for players, so we can put some amounts and divide into more than one address. It could be one of the strategy in order to prevent we loss all the capital, because there are others addresses. Never put all eggs in one basket, I agree it safer that way.

i prefer multiple deposit addresses or atleast the option to change it as i want to. bitcoin is for annonimity and i don't wanna be traced whenever i deposit in a gambling site for security reasons.

It is better if i have multiple address, i feel safer and i feel more secured, with multiple address i can keep my anonimity and not easily to be track, eventhough sometimes i am confused with so many address but I prefer it rather than my account can be track by other user

Technically speaking, you can still be tracked. Even when using mixers. That said, it does add a lot more obfuscation and makes it more difficult. Just keep in mind that even doing this, you're not 100% hidden.

The answer should be multiple deposit address as this give more privacy to players and high rollers always want more privacy.

Also single deposit address gives people opportunity to track someone and i don't think anyone would like to get track by others.

i will prefer multiple addresses because i like to see and count how much i've deposited in every payment so i can re arrange my money, and i know how much i spent each payment

i used multiple deposit addresses because of security reasons, and sometime while i have won on gambling making withdrawal i used cryptos mixing services for still be anonymous.

I prefer multiple, but would also like that the previous address I deposited to, stays active even if I end up depositing to it later. I have had cases where I sent to lbtc, which has multiple addresses which expire after a month, and the address I sent to had expired. Had to contact support then.

I like to have multiple deposit address and I can manage it by myself (I can create a new address but I do not lose the old address) Like what offered by moneypot. So I can track all my deposits in order to manage my gambling activity.

i prefer a fixed address so i don't have to look it up again.
this way i always have it in my history too, and i fill it in fast and easy with little hasstle in case i wanted to deposit.

It is true, we can use various address to deposit for security. Someone may watch whale's btc address, try to decipher their wallet. Look bitfinex lost 120k btc, the hacker is a genius, can stole 3-sig address.   :'(

I prefer single address for gaming site so I can use it all the time therefore it will easier to look up my previous transactions to and from that site. When we use other sites addresses we cant manage the security from those addresses.

i like to have the "option" to create a new address for deposits but i prefer to keep the old address and re-use that for all my deposits. and even after creating a new address the old one should still work and accept deposits.

I too agree with this proposal. We should have the option to create new deposit addresses at the same time all our previous addresses also should work. It is something similar to XAPO does. They will give many new dynamic addresses to received payments and all our prior addresses also works.

I would go for the multiple addresses because of two main reasons which are

1. So as to enable me track withdrawals from each gambling site and also
2. To avoid tracking of my money from if its all going to only one address.

Id rather go for having a permanent one so i cannot be confused upon depositing and so i can remember easily wich address is for gambling and which is for another investing thing, etc, etc because there are some bad case that we accidentaly deposit on other address and possibly we cannot remember and locate which deposit address it is since i have many investment existing online.  so if our gambling addy will be permanent we can easy to see that this is the right addy to be deposited for our gambling tantrums.

in your case, most of gambling sites that have multiple deposit address, you can still send your deposit in the old one and it will still be credited to your account. so your point is invalid i guess

I prefer having one deposit address than changing every time I deposit but having the option to change isn't bad since more people want to protect their privacy. I know this type of system was already implemented by nitrogensports but they have a limit for changing addresses every 24 hours.

No, i like to have fixed deposit address assigned to one account. It will be easier for me track what total i have deposited to my gambling wallet.

i prefer for deposity every time 1 only address (different is for withdraw), because i send direct the mining amount from nicehash and other similar, to my bitcoin address to gambling site.

I also like to use multiple address for gambling sites but I never share my personal cold storage address with anyone, multiple address is best way to play with safety on online gambling sites, because all funds in  one address can be dangerous and there is chance to lose amount if we all amount in a place.

i prefer with multiple addresses because we can split it those address for two purpose which is one address we can used to gambling and another address we can used to make investments on that site.

beside that, we can track each address and we can see how much we make so far and maybe we can make our target to be clear. all in all, it can makes us easy to determine what we want to do with that wallet and money inside.

It depends also, which gambling sites you prefer. Sometimes they ask, that sending and receiving BTC address is the same. So it is more easy to use multiple deposit addresses. Plus this give you also more control on your profit/loss balance.  ;D

Having multiple deposit addresses make us relaxed and that is good decision to use different account for online casinos, from my opinion this would be nice strategy to use different address each time we get started there, so we can keep us safe during stay online to play on gambling sites.

I prefer one permanent address on a gaming site so that i will be able to avoid sending deposit to other address. With one address we can also track every transaction we did in that account like in multiple addresses.

The answer is fairly simple : Obviously Multiple deposit addresses with a single wallet showing the final balance! How does it matter anyway ? First off all,its not safe to have just one dedicated wallet for a gambling site.You know,the private keys will not be shared with you.Secondly,kind of kills the anonymity when someone knows that this "username" is being assigned with that address so he must be the same person.If  websites are ready to give  different deposit addresses and showing the final balance in their system with history of last deposits on your account,then why not ?

i don't see the point of creating a new bitcoin address for this purpose, i like to be able to pay to the same address for as long as i am using that service. no matter it is an exchange service depositing crypto currencies or it is  a gambling site depositing bitcoin/altcoin.

i always bookmark the address and use it multiple times.

I think you can only be tracked if the person tracking you is trully determined to track your activities because for an ordinary guy who just want to look at your sending and receiving transaction, they will just look at the address and thats it. Unlike a determined guy who will go to the distance of extracting each transaction and using other tools.

To be honest, I dont really care about permanent deposit address or multiple deposit addresses. What I dont like is that if a site generates new eposit address automatically after one transaction is being made. I would prefer a site that allows their players to generate new deposit address as they wish. So players may choose whether to use old deposit address or generate a new one.

I basically prefer permanent address so that I can keep a track of my transactions and I get to know to which site I made transaction if I check my transaction log of bitcoin wallet. Though there are some guys who love to have multiple addresses. So I think making an option to change the address would serve those who are i need of that kind of feature.

I would prefer to have multiple deposit addresses on gambling sites for better privacy. I don't feel comfortable using a single bitcoin address to deposit funds as it is easy to track your deposit once someone knows the address is the deposit address for the gambling site.

I don't have any problem whether the site has only single deposit address or people can have an option to generate other address.

But for much users concern purposes, a site mush have an option to make another deposit address.

There is a transaction history for every transactions made (at least in all of the gambling sites) so you can still track your transactions for every concerned address.

I think an option to toggle between the both would be both would be the best because many people like many was of depositing. Some prefer to use different addresses to deposit while other prefer to have a single address. Having a single address also means faster deposits because the time spent to generate the new address is not there.

I would like to have multiple but at the same time be able to use any previous addresses, I would probably use the original address most of the time but I think I would like the idea that I can change at any point if I no longer wish to use that address.

I like just one deposit address as this deposit address is only known to me and there is no way how outside users can know that this is my deposit address unless my account is hacked. For this I suggest to use 2FA on gambling websites and 1 deposit address is enough. I use only one in betcoin.ag and have no problem with it. I wonder why the use of multiple deposit addresses. Withdraw addresses we can have multiply to make ourselves a bit more anonymous on the gambling site. I voted for the single deposit address.

Your funds will be spend linked with other funds known to belong to that service, allowing it to be seen that it is a deposit address. A bit more looking could find that known addresses belonging to you has sent a bunch of funds there, and find out that it is your deposit address. Multiple deposit addresses is to provide more anonymity, but is pointless sometimes if it is always sent from the same address and spend linked. I think moneypot should have a combo of both, similar to what NitrogenSports does. You can use the same address more than once, and it stays the same, but you have the option to get a new address by pressing a button.

If you want a permanent address, just don't use the New Address option. (Anyway I can't find a plus for the permanent deposit address yet)

I don't know why anyone would vote on No. When the question is 'would you like an option', yes is always better or same as no.

In Moneypot's case switching to a single deposit address is not a good idea at all. (Granted it is easier to manage) Continue as is or declutter the deposit page.

though i dont need too much privacy when im gambling, having one permanent address would be way easier and less confusing

Permanent one. because many gambling site will banned the multiple account. If all of your account are banned, you will loose more. And it take a quite big risk. even it will give you more profit. Yeah in gamble world, there is " The more risk you take, the more profit you will get". But I'm not risk taker type. so I prefer to choose permanent one, but grow the profit with stable.

For depositing in gaming sites it is better to have permanent address so that we can see that which address we have sent the bitcoins and can keep the record of deposits to the gaming sites. But while we are depositing that is always multi deposit is good.

What are you trying to convey ? You're saying take option 1 because option 2 is equally good ? lol ? You can check the transaction history/last deposits and summary of the account with multi deposit addresses as well.The final balance is shown in your casino's wallet anyway.

I would like to have a wallet with multiple addresses it is more convenient by every aspect. I can use same wallet for multiple operations with exposing my wallet to anyone and it will help to have better way record keeping. I think gambling sites should offer this facility or may be after this poll someone take these consensus in consideration that what players want to see.

My vote is for yes because multiple addresses or option with creating new address for each time I want to make deposit is good. It will nice addition on my favorite site but unfortunately this is not available at this point. This has many benefits who knows to have new address every time.

Yeah, that's something that's pretty good too. I see sites that offer turn of the addres in the conduct of each of the deposits is something good to give effect on security or something that can hide the addres of the original owner of the account. So this is something that is good enough to do. But this certainly will also give some negative effects
