It has one PCIe x16 lane and one x1 lane. with a PCIe x1 to x16 adapter and sufficient power supply could I run two 7950s from this computer? Does the motherboard specifically need to have crossfire support? Would I need a dummy plug for one of the video cards?

Would I need a dummy plug for one of the video cards? why would you need cross fire? the cards shouldn't be connected for mining coins (no benefit from it) no dummy plug. I believe the "latest" Catalyst drivers solved that issue (but don't quote me on that) Title: Re: GPU support question Post by: yeemartin on March 27, 2013, 08:45:49 PM you need new PSU and you should be able to run two cards, but not crossfire (with the crossfire connector between the cards).
