We do not wish to make empty promises. As soon as things start falling into place we will start marketing as we will have something to actually market.

JīN Coin - Investment Fund

The next phase of the JīN road-map, the investment fund, has passed its trial and is preparing to launch. In our beta phase we raised 5BTC and turned it into 10.5BTC in 4 weeks of trading. This was in an environment of excessive volatility and assume the results will greatly vary over time.

The goal was to create a solid market strategy, have the right people execute the trades, and most importantly, be profitable. This was all achieved and we look forward to developing this portion of our business model further.


The next phase:

- Determining a new market value
- Choosing opening time & date for the next fund offering
- Launching the fund

Guidelines:

- The investor funds are as safe as the exchange.
- The investor can withdraw at any point with a 25% penalty.
- The fund pays out 20% to the investors, 30% to the traders, and 50% to the coin for buy & sell support.

All coins acquired for collateral to fund entry after the 1st fund has matured will be burned after each subsequent fund has matured. The goal is to reduce the supply and revalue the market after each fund cycle is complete.

Based on the supply and demand dynamics at this point in time the JīN team feels confident adding to buy support over the course of time. The market is currently suggesting a market value of 400-600 satoshi for the first offering to likely take place in mid February.

JIN didn't ICO, though. It was one of the rare fair mineable launches of 2016. I'm pretty sure this is the 2nd time I'm correcting someone about this in this thread... must be too many ICOs out there

Hello world, I am alive and have some updates.

There is a new wallet! This upgrade includes features such as merged-mining, SegWit, automatic wallet backups.
Please note that the new data directory is "Jincoin" or ".jincoin", but the wallet may automatically detect the old directory if you have used the previous version.

The OP and website are updated along with a new roadmap. The two things that are most exciting are: Jincoin is launching a service for traders. The service will accept JIN as payment and the majority of each payment will go to miners, the rest goes to server expenses. Second thing is Jincoin Golang wallet. This opens the doors for Atomic-Swaps and Lighting-Network.

I also have some "fun" news. A Jincoin puzzle will be up soon on jin-coin.com!

Hey, yes it came to my attention that some wallets where loosing connection. Fixed the bug and recompiling all the wallets, they are not done yet. I will update here when they are uploaded to GitHub.

My Jin coin wallet (for windows 64) can not sync with JinCoin network. Please help me to fix and sync my wallet. Thanks.

- Are you using the latest wallet? You should be on v2.0.2.1 (https://github.com/jincoin/jincoin-core/releases/download/v2.0.2/jincoin-qt-2.0.2.1_x64Windows.zip)
- Are you getting connections to other nodes? If so, do you lose these connections after a while?

If you paste the contents of your debug.log file we can take a look at the issue, otherwise you can try this:
- Close your wallet
- Next, go to search and type %appdata% ,  you will see a folder called Jincoin. Go in and delete the folders called "blocks" and "chainstate". DO NOT DELETE your wallet.dat
- Download the latest wallet from https://github.com/jincoin/jincoin-core/releases/download/v2.0.2/jincoin-qt-2.0.2.1_x64Windows.zip
- Run it and let me know if everything synced up.
