Simple question, if you had $50,000 how would you invest it to make your biggest return?

XMR, but if you would do it 7 days ago you would already have $150k

I would look at longterm investment options and keep in mind cryptocurrencies are very volatile of nature.
Furthermore i would only invest to a certain amount, what i could financially afford to loose.
If i were new to the cryptocurrency, then maybe i would diversify it a bit too. 

I would invest in a new local business.
I also would leave crypto scammy bullshit forever.
I sure as fucking god damn hell would not spend 1 single cent on this retarded scammy ass bullshit.

I have more skill at trading than all of you here combined !
I have never had 1 ICO coin in my life and know how to profit off of legit coins.
I made 12 grand with nothing "invested" then cashed out and spent it.

Buy low and sell high.  Diversify into as many things possible.  Aim for 0.1% minimum of promising projects.

Chances are if a project is already at $10M market cap then the ROI left is pretty limited.  Not many alternates hit and, especially months later, stay above $100 million.  There's some psychological barrier among alternates where people dump as soon as something goes over $100 million.

Put some in ZCash (September), SYNX, and AMP (Synereo). Keep the rest in BTC for the eventual big pump!

Buy LISK as well, but this could take several months to a year

I would go for the long haul investment and hit up Rimbit! Its development in the past 2 years had been incredible. If you want a solid coin to back, I suggest Rimbit.

Well, you have missed on big opportunities to get rich. In the alt world you can turn 1000 into 100k if you get at the right coin at the right moment.
XMR was a good pretty obvious call for example. On long term periods of stability, in a coin that has decent fundamentals, you can invest and eventually make money.

yes XMR bull run seem really bigger than expected. So i think if you can risk about 10% of those $50,000 than invest in XMR. I think we will test atleast 15$ level before correction.

And with other deviate/spread your investment in multiple coins like ETC, LISK also Bitcoin is quite undervalued and there is lots of space for pump.

heck with investing, if I consider my financial situation right now I would probably just keep the money. or invest the 10%-15% of it to some company stocks

Spread the investment into the top 20 coins. This is the best way instead of investing in one or two coins.
Risk is better spread.

there'd have to be some major developments to get it to budge. since 2014 there've been moments but it's not exactly been great unless you'd timed it perfectly.

Monero and/or LISK. Seeing how the two performs in the market right now, I can say that I can make good profits with these coins at the right time. Other stuffs such as mini pumps can also give me big returns, but I ain't interested in that. I want to see a complete development of a coin.

Unlike you invest in ICO or new releases altcoin you will gain high risk on that thing ..

Spread your investments into some good ICOs such as DECENT, SINGULAR, ANTSHARES, ICONOMI. you can also buy into top 10 altcoins. The rest hold it as BTC. If you are a trader, why don't you use some bits to trade. It's risky so be careful. Diversification is key to be successful because you never know whats going to happen. That's actually not a bad advice. The price of silver has been in decline for several years and there is a good chance for a 25% short term profit (in 6 to 12 months).

I never went long term.. super short term !
And i never ever watered down my portfolio by spreading it out thin over many coins.
Go big or go home.. don't be a pussy.
Get in there and make money.
Investing in lots of coins will give you less risk and LESS PROFIT.
It's also tired cliched stupid advice all these idiots here give you LOL
And it's just as stupid now as ever.

I started by Mining 0.00000001 LTC coins with an Nvidia 550 card (cheap garbage)
And some CPU mining with an old Core 2 Duo E7500 ..mid-2013

I still have my Cryptsy portfolio summary saved from that year.
Making my first Litecoin was a major accomplishment and took me a month or two roughly.
But i REFUSED to spend 1 damn cent on this retarded crap !
I did it the hard way and turned 1 LTC coin into 12 fucking thousands dollars !
I had no idea what the word "FIAT" meant or half the trade terms.. nor did i care.
..i could see how shit worked.
I just jumped in trading and learned as i went.. making many mistakes but gradually learning from them.

Eventually i cashed out because i predicted the altcoin recession to hit and i was right.
I made the right decision !
Further more there was nothing left LEGIT to invest in. (everything was dropping in price badly)
So i didn't.
If i don't see a project i want to support then i walk.
I don't simply settle for what ever is going to make me profit.
So i had to quit.. it was a sea of SCRYPT clones and x13 clones etc
..then came the ICO / IPO dipshitery.
I don't *WANT* to get rich off of that scammy ass ICO garbage.

But to summarize i did trades on Cryptsy mostly early on starting out. (Cryptsy was 2 months old)
As more exchanges popped up i got into some arb'ing for profit.
I also supported some clones starting but back then there was roughly 50 coins.. not 5,000
And even then i TRIED all along to have some integrity such as avoiding ORB.

I realized how things were playing out and figured i had to do more to make my self accountable
and as time went on i tried harder to avoid crap coins for profit. (and encouraged others to join me)

I feel sorry for long term bag holders though.

Trading take skill and time and effort.
YOU WILL fuck up ..learn from it.
I don't think everyone can be super good at it.. but everyone could be "good"

A talented trader can make money off the more legit coins.
vs. losers who don't know how and think the ONLY way to do it is to
buy ICO shitcoins with FIAT then wait for a pump.
You need a traders toolbox with lots of tools in it.. learn how to use them !

But to be honest I am very talented in trading; so generating 20% in a monthly basis from that amount I will be rich in few years.

You won't maximize profit that way, you have to do day trading to make the highest possible profit.

50% bitcoin, 50% split in a few good altcoins(probably using them in nodes)

5000 dollar to use trade bitcoin and altcoin
20,000 dollar to saving to bank
10,000 buy obligation and saham
10,000 to use bussines offline
5000 use another online bussines

First thing you should do is not be asking here what to do if you had 50k to invest. Not only does it make you look like a moron but it also fuels all the shills to peddle their shitcoins.

invest in btc is good choice, but altcoin will rock to the moon. ;D

Diversify into Ethereum, Monero and few ICOs, but be careful when you choose which ICO to invest. Iconomi.net may be the good pick.

Buy BTC and FCT.

invest it in bitcoin so that you can expect a big return too but be careful on investing because sometimes if you done invest your money sometimes the website are turning into scam that fast and you don't have the control on your money so that be careful try to learn on trading its much safer

I would invest it all in BTC, and move between 25% to 50% in Z-cash when it launches over a period of time. That will be one stellar long term portfolio to hold!

if you have to ask it here then I say don't do it because it seems like you have no experience in the field and most probably will lose money and loss on a big amount is also big.

but if you are so interested to invest that much money at once then I suggest you to diversify at least. but bitcoin with most of it and then spread the rest among some altcoins which look promising. for instance Monero (XMR) is so hot these days and you could make a good profit if you got in early.

What's with the suggestions to buy Monroe - holy fuck that is a stupid idea. To double your money it would have to hit $200 million mkt cap from $100m mkt cap. Now how fucking likely is that? considering it was $10m mkt cap a couple weeks ago. Stupid fuckin' wankers.

Invest it on ETH price range can easily pump between $12 to $13. Quite profitable in few weeks or months.

ETH is the only one that can not go higher to what you think any more. because nobody is interested in it anymore. ETC has some potential but it is too risky.

these days only monero and litecoin and lisk are the coins that i am trading.

It seems like a simple question to answer, but it's not that easy. I can say that you have to learn more about bitcoin, trading, mining and other investments, to then choose the one that can provide the risk-reward ratio with greater advantage.

Not bad choice,I would buy more Lisk, it will go 10x,20x within a year.

I have some other investments that are making me some money right now....might do that but need to keep a level head and not go crazy with to much risk :P

I'd invest $5 in Dash, $10 in doge, and the rest I'd sock away in shares of a good dividend-paying stock or two.  I'm very skeptical of altcoins at the moment and $50k is a lot of money to be investing in something so risky.

As long as you remember to watch the numbers... don't sleep on them, never sleep. Even if your making a profit, consider and try to renew/reevaluate the list in two weeks.

I plan on taking profit on all...not waiting for the bottom to drop. I have 25% set on sell orders to take profit and have notifications setup to my phone....so won't be caught with my pants down 8)
