Title: Hosts that accept Bitcoin as payment
Post by: boind on August 30, 2016, 06:14:40 AM
Hello everyone!

Tell me please, what kind of data you need to select the hosting company?

I have created a list of providers that accept Bitcoin and gave information about location of servers and payment variants. What other info do you need?

List there: Hosting companies that accept Bitcoin as payment (http://nocens.org/ratings/487-bitcoin-hosting)

Good list you've put up there! You sure all of them are actually providing services and not just a web page to steal bitcoins ? Only one of them is rated, other's are that bad ? Could you please put up a list of companies that provide VPS servers windows/linux for bitcoins ?

well can't expect that much from $1 monthly hosting service as it will have poor specification,so it'll basically match well for learning nor to start a business

i just figured out that namecheap hasn't being written down in the list yet,i think namecheap is also a hosting that accept bitcoin with having good reputation

No doubt you have a good list here but also try to have good review especially first hand experience about their services by this you can establish yourself an an authority when it comes to bitcoin hosts.

The fuck even that means ?Which would he want to be an authority over a bitcoin hosting services ? Pcoin, mate no doubt you're posting garbage but let me explain why you need to start taking Nootropics
-The thread is about a blog which OP posts the contents on.
-He made a list of hosts on basis of his experience.

Which part of the posts makes you think he is doing this to establish an authority over the hosting sites ? Lmao?

I searched in that website and couldn't find SteadyTurtle which advertised here in the forum a while ago.

The ANN can be found here >>> SteadyTurtle.com - Bitcoin Web Hosting (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=972575.0)

They accept bitcoin and offer (shared) hosting and also domain registration.

Thank you for list of host providers which accept bitcoin as payment method. It's useful to have all in one place, because it was hard to me to search for such hosts. I will try to choose provider for my website from your list.

Definitely you dont understand what i said but i guess the op would, for the purpose of clarity, some of this bitcoin hosting services sucks and they dont worth our time.
Also to be an authority simply means his website shall be a place for people like me and others to check from time to time for any latest webhosting services that accepts bitcoin.
I do not post rubbish either but very constructive and at time philosophical in my posts however i do not insult the op but appreciate his efforts.

Actually i like your listing and seen host1plus in the list which i am using from few months now and they are very supportive as well as i like their service. Also voted for them and seems like voting system works perfectly, given 4.5 star to them. But why your site is full in russian language, you better have english section or full site in english language.

Title: Re: Hosts that accept Bitcoin as payment
Post by: bitcoin revo on August 31, 2016, 09:08:16 PM
Instead of having just the host name + vote (and payment options), I think it would be worthwhile to make a short description on them, or at least something that makes them stick out; whether that be quality, the affordable prices, great support, etc. Scrolling down the list seems a little drab.

But why your site is full in russian language, you better have english section or full site in english language.

Just because you think English is the dominant language across the globe (it may or may not be) doesn't mean that every website around the Internet needs to translate themselves to English. Let local languages use themselves in the websites, it's not that big of a deal.

Actually he can use whatever language he like, i was just asking him that if it was english it will be easier for everyone to navigate through sites and in reality i am also not a native english speaker guy but atleast i know english far better than russian.  ;D

I translated the content and... yeah, the addition of the server specs and price would be a nice addition to the English version as well. Makes it so that the only distinguishing feature of each listing isn't a community-based vote that doesn't have enough people voting on each one.

The list has been growing from the start. Thing is that with bitcoin we need to be patient. The adoption process is going very slow and steady but we are getting there.
Just wait for a few more years and the amount of sites that accept bitcoin is very large.

As digital currencies grow in popularity and acceptance, web hosting companies have been adopting the leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, as a method of payment. The anonymity and privacy that is offered by Bitcoin transactions is appealing to a wide variety of web hosting customers. Bypassing financial institutions and government regulations, Bitcoin transactions typically require little or no processing fees and can be used by companies and customers in all countries that have access to the Internet, including countries that do not permit the use of PayPal.

Well i guess you maybe are right. Since i do only blogging so this certain hosting is just fine for me, I personally bought my domain in namecheap as well. I guess that they really ask lesser payments than other sites $8 per year if i am not mistaken tho  i just don't know the real score about the specs

Used VPS server from coinshost (https://coinshost.com/?ref=Nataabramova). It has proven itself as a reliable provider with fast servers.

Used VPS-V3 (2.6 GHz Intel Xeon E5-2697 v3, 2 CPU Cores, 4096 MB RAM, 60 GB of Storage, 4 TB of Bandwidth, 10 Gbit/s port) for $15

Nice list mate, currently I'm using host1plus and it's the best hosting site for those who have only Bitcoin payment, It's been a month after I used hosting1plus for my p*rn site and I would say that they are best because every time I've sent a ticket about my website problem they are always replying back within 5 - 24 hours.

Hello. How to do it better - Keep a list on a single page, or break it up into multiple pages?
keep them in single page. it is much better and a user friendly way. people can easily navigate in that way. if you break it up into multiple pages it can be annoying for users. but if the list become very long than you can make it in multiple pages.. right now I don't see so many websites.

I think that all cheap hosting where is offer "unlimited" disk space or bandwidth is nonsense.
for example if i buy this hosting package for "only $1.95/mo" with unlimited space, I can to have my own cloud drive for my 10TB of unnecessary files. that I did not know about this earlier, I wiped my huge collection of pornography.
"Unlimited" is a marketing trick, and I think this should not be taken seriously

I dont really know what's the difference between paying real money and bitcoin for your host, Is it the value will be cheaper or just desame ? . Then why not just sell some of your coins and use papypal to get a hosting. But if your going to really pursue that way of getting your host then i prefer you use thcservers.com it was best use for websites made of php.
