Thats old news, a bug was found, it was fixed and the bounty paid. 

What I can say is that it damaged the coin's image very much, since since today ShadowCash=broken code.

Last I heard, SCD was fundamentally flawed.

This is expected. Anonymous coins are making a comeback because of the latest development of XMR getting accepted at Alphabay. Expect Nav and Cloak threads to follow. The biggest loser here is Dash because some holders are dumping it to buy XMR so it now it is starting to go down.

I feel that a lot of people will get burned in these speculations...

You are right, in any speculative market there will be winners and losers, but SDC looks like a good bet atm

We were not fundamentally flawed as we fixed the flaw. Hence it was not very fundamental to the theoretical design of our crypto rather being a bug in the actual product.

It was discovered and shared because we have a good bounty bug program that ensures finders a good reward,
it was also patched rather fast as the bug was really small; the kind you can overlook easily.

i'm not a SDC investor, yet, we have to agree that a bug doesn't kill a coin, specially if the bug is solved. XMR is best example of that.

From what I understand Shadow offers many advantages over Monero but you wouldn't know it because of all the Monero shills around here.

Many people have experienced interest in anon coins because of Dash and Monero. It is likely the price of SDC will go above 0.001 because of the hype. However, I don't believe in the hype as government and businesses won't support anon coins.

The gov or business don't have to support this, it will be supported by people who want to form groups and communicate and transact privately.

The main reason why there is a revival of the anonymous coins is because of Alphabay's acceptance of XMR. Dash has nothing to do with it. Dash has been marketing their coin for a long time here but has not created a huge following. The same with Monero before the darknet market news. But that will soon change.
