Title: Fake Feedback
Post by: sharris1940 on August 30, 2016, 03:42:28 PM
I haven't conducted a single transaction with anyone on this site, and somehow I have a -2 and a -1 on my profile.

Are people just allowed to leave negative feedback without any proof of transaction?

I'm pissed right now because I've been trying to build history here to do legit business.

It is true that at the moment you have negative trust but unfortunately the trust system is not moderated which means you have to contact the user who left you the negative feedback and resolve it.

How do I find out who left it?

suchmoon left the feedback. You can pm him and ask why.

He says,

"Newbie is attempting to buy BTC with PayPal, which is reversible up to 180 days. Avoid."

Those kind of activities from thr newbies are not welcomed in this forum.

edit: btw feedbacking him back will only make it worse. I would delete it as soon as possible if i were you.

Suchmoon left valid feedback.  Everything in it is true.

Your feedback for suchmoon is completely untrue.  He's not a scammer and you didn't risk 2btc.  You ought to rethink that.

His feedback for me is 100% untrue.

I also tried to buy via Credit Card, and other methods as well.

As you can see I'm somewhat new, and instead of sending me a friendly message, he left BS feedback.

A lie is a lie... period and he's a liar as far as I'm concerned.

He's also an a-hole for lying on me trying to commit libel.

I guess I can always sue him for libel, since his feedback was 100% false.

He's a piece of shit. I'm just gonna go on the darkweb and pay someone to DOX him.

I'll just create a new profile with a new IP address... I hope everyone here isn't as much of a lying a-hole as he is.

But he's gonna learn his lesson about lying on people while hiding behind a screen name.

I treated people how they wanna be treated, and based on his actions, he's a liar and wants to be treated like a liar.

I'm gonna make sure he regrets lying on me.

Bullshit you're not going to do anything like that.  You may as well run away screaming that you're going to tell your mom.  Go cry in a corner somewhere,  sucking your thumb.  Empty threats are empty.

You don't know anything about me.

What I do know is that if you look at that scumbag's feedback, there is a HISTORY of him leaving negative feedback for no reason at all. It's not like it's 1 or 2 people saying it, but a BUNCH.

One even left his real name there. I'm going to DOX that lying bitch.

I'm grown and that scumbag is hiding behind the internet because he has no life.

That statement is untrue, therefore suchmoon's feedback is true. Lets take a look at it:

Newbie
Your status on the forums is "Newbie", so the first word is correct. (Can't deny this)

Quote

True. Your post was in Currency exchange, and was looking to buy Bitcoin with PayPal. (Can't deny this, can you)

Quote
which is reversible up to 180 days.
True. Anyone who has used PayPal knows that you can file a chargeback 180 days later (one reason why paypal sucks)

Quote
Avoid.
True. Taking PayPal from a Newbie is very risky, since it could be from a hacked paypal, or just someone wanting to scam people. No reputation is at stake, so it wouldn't affect you if you scammed.

You know, instead of insulting him, leaving a retaliation feedback and than threatning to dox him, you could have just sent him a PM, said you didn't know and was sorry, and that you will stop trying to buy BTC with paypal for a while. He most likely would have removed your feedback.

I'm not going to apologize to him for not trying to scam someone.

Paypal is ACCEPTED all over the damn world by MILLIONS of people. I've been using it since 2003, but I come here and try to use it and suddenly I'm to be avoided? BS

How about he apologize and try to talk to people first via PM before using his status to bully new members.

That would be the RIGHT thing to do.

I'm not the only person to point out this fact about him. He's an a-hole period.

He deserves to be DOXed so he can't hide behind his screen.

He's probably a scammer himself just like that guy on American Greed. Using his status to bully people and extort them.

Fuck this a-hole.

Exactly.  Even if he was doxxed, there's no one who's going to give a crap because such moon didn't do anything wrong.  We will all yawn probably.  OP why don't you listen to others here and stop acting like a tantrum throwing 3 year old?  You're wrong and you're not likely to find many people in your corner on this issue.  Also just looked at yer feedback and you done swatted the hornets' nest didn't ya?

To complete the picture here is a PM the OP sent to me:

!!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!

I'm new here and you leave a BS feedback because I tried to buy bitcoin with paypal? I will be making several new profile just to bring down your trust reputation asshole.

I'm a legit business person, so fuck you and your fake ass review comment.s

I'm always willing to reconsider my feedback if a newbie PayPal "trader" gets of their high horse and finds another way to acquire the Bitcoins (and there is always a way). The above PM is the exact opposite of that.

And BTW if you paid $25 for my dox - you got scammed.

Edit: is jvalentine777 your alt?

And buying bitcoin with PayPal is against PP's TOS, so there's that argument to be made against legit business being conducted too.  Why don't you dox me while you're at it, OP?  Some people don't care.  It's not the threat you think when you're not doing anything illegal.

Are you 100% sure it's against the terms of service from PayPal to sell bitcoins?

I am asking this because I wonder how www.wesellcrypto.com can do this for such long time and they even put this in the selling description what they sold, I am 99% sure that PayPal changed this rules 1+ year ago, but again I not claim anything

I've asked the same question myself about wesellcrypto, and I don't have a clue.  Spoetnik made a huge deal about PP and bitcoin and quoted their TOS not too long ago.  I'm not 100% sure either.  They were only selling dogecoin up until not too long ago, and I'm glad they upgraded their service.  Maybe someone else can chime in here.

PayPal TOS still prohibits currency exchange. Perhaps the interpretation may be more lax now as to what constitutes "currency exchange" or wesellcrypto operates under some special agreement. I can imagine a situation where PayPal wouldn't rush to enforce their TOS if the entity in question is able to keep their chargeback rates down to a reasonable level.

You are correct, such acts would trully  be given by a negative feedback since all that paypal- bitcoin transaction are reversible as we all know and no one would surely do that kind  of method.  Instead of  insulting the person who give  negative feedback  he must need to apologize since you have commited   mistake at all because those kind of things are really prohibited in this forum.
