I think it's a good opportunity for the future, especially for the low amount of transaction taxes, because you can be your own bank and the transactions are from one person to another without relying on a center, is a decentralized cryptocurrency.
Although it has a few things to improve, such as security and people to support this project further.
But Bitcoin is just beginning, we have to wait a little more time...

I think bitcoin has help so many people financially, even some of the people stop from their main job to focus on bitcoin, so i think bitcoin has a great future for economics and bitcoin also can become a great investment, and i think bitcoin can decrease poverty rate

Bitcoin is essentially a great financial pyramid. I don't think there is any chance of it being good for any economy in the long run. But this in no case means that you (or anyone else, for that matter) can't or shouldn't grasp at an opportunity to profit by it. Each for himself and devil take the hindmost. Yes for it will be good for an individual financial but bad for a country. Like what happen to China when there economy is down the price of bitcoin go up, thats the time the bitcoin user in China convert their fiat to bitcoin.

bitcoin is most definitely a good thing for our economy. however, i am not sure the governments also think like that when it comes to bitcoin. for them bitcoin is more like a potential threat instead of something good. that being said, they do seem to like the blockchain as they put money and time in researching the full possibilities of this technology.

For my country it is a very good chance to improve our financial system as most of our people like to work online and paypal was a bigger problem for them and now with bitcoin they are free with their money and they earn a bigger amount for their country.

The major advantage bitcoin has over fiat is that inflation is controlled.

With fiat the price of goods/services increases indefinitely, whereas bitcoins has a limited supply so inflation is limited.

I believe digital currencies are our future, but it seems the government is making plans for its own digital currency.

What makes you think that the "unbanked" can not participate in the economy? Most of them are actively participating in their local economies by bartering or using physical cash. The term "unbanked" is horrible, because it generates the perception that people, who are not using banks are somehow dumb and need help to participate in the glorious banking world. But in fact, the opposite is true: These people are doing it right!

Of course Bitcoin offers immense opportunities for the world economy, because it "unbanks" all people, freeing them from the restrictions and costs that come with using banks and other financial service companies, especially for international transactions. Bitcoin is the only currency that you can take across different countries and not pay any taxes on it. It completely gives you the freedom to move anywhere in the world and exchange it to any other currency.This mobility is very advantageous to people who travel a lot.

As a store of wealth it is fairly price stable and is much easier to access and store than physical gold. I imagine another blockchain will succeed as a general payment system tho'. Unless the core devs make big inroads in scaleability and throughput.

that will put a threat to the centralized system which is banking industry , and maybe it would give our economy a good status but we cannot say there will never be a problem from it . our security must be our focus and we must still be on control on our own property .

I think Bitcoin has a positive impact on the economy as well. People will start relying less on their banks and credit cards, more privacy over transactions and ease to transact with using their personal mobile phones. Also, it'd enable poorer countries to receive and send monetary remittances at a much cheaper rate and almost instantly without having to to wait in long queues to collect the fund.

To Countries with high unemployment rate, Bitcoin opens an opportunity to trade and earn anonymously with very low capital. In my country I have met a high school student who uses Bitcoin to earn and started here in this forum. His earnings help him with his expenses. Down side is he is earning more on gambling not in straight trading.

The similar situation is in my country. Many people are unempoyed or with low incomes and they are trying all sorts of ways out of this situation. Bitcoin is one way that can help them. They can still use Bitcoin pretty anonimous and earn some extra income. But mostly younger people are interested in Bitcoin, so this is not solution for everyone.

Bitcoin will definitely stimulate new job opportunities and also for informal trade, where people can use micro payments to it's full potential

i think you are right but here i nees to mention here that for a particular country government it can give a opposite effect if it will be declared as illegal and bannes by the country . all over its realy a better way to get profit and a better way for the improvement of economy .

Right indeed bitcoin is very useful especially to those  people who are jobless since they could possibly earn bitcoin  with just putting some effort and time  on a front of a pc then you could actually make money. It would  possibly surpass the  amount of salary on bitcoin compared on having a day job especially on 3rd world countries.

if you have signature campaigns and faucets in your mind when you say job in from of a pc then those are not a job it is a micro earning method to earn some pocket money nothing else.

In its current form? absolutely not. The world economy is a giant pyramid scheme, everything you know and love about the modern world exists thanks to the flow of power from high to low. Decentralization is nice but it simply cannot be enforced system wide the way this first generation of bitcoiners seems to think is possible. At least not without destroying what has already been built. Bitcoin can certainly improve certain aspects of the economy but for this to happen it will have to be modified so that it can be integrated into the current system.

Correction: Everything we know and love about the modern world exists in spite of the broken and corrupt system in it's current form. At least some of which is still fighting the broken system to be allowed to exist. Bitcoin does not need to be integrated into the broken and corrupt system. but instead everybody needs to wake up and use bitcoin to replace the part of the system that it can. The current system needs to be allowed to fail so it can be replaced with something better.

I think that bitcoin is a good currency to use. I like bitcoin because it is anonymous(for the most part), doesn't take up a lot of space, and most transactions are pretty fast. I don't like that there are fees to confirm a transaction, and that sometimes the transaction takes a wile to confirm.

yes good for our economy but not globally because many countries do not recognize bitcoin as a payment or as a currencies and all transactions with bitcoin not yet have the force of law if we get fraud from bitcoin transaction, but I am sure in time to come bitcoin could be more severe than now and will be a lot of countries that recognize even using bitcoin as a payment
