Title: Bhutan
Post by: Zangelbert Bingledack on March 28, 2013, 05:30:15 PM
We passed Bhutan in market cap a while ago, and the King is very young, happy, and seems cool. He even married a commoner. Is it possible we could convince him to use Bitcoin for their national currency?

I'm guessing it might be too high-tech for them (how high is celphone penetration there?), but it's worth a shot.

The only country in the world to enshrine happiness as a right for its citizens in its laws. Not the "pursuit" of it, but happiness itself.

No, we should go for XBT. If we go for BTC it will only delay getting an ISO code, we can always try later.

I think the country to go for would be Estonia. Or as they are calling it E-stonia as the Internet is very prevalent there.
