Basically Gox delay is a bearish development, because it means that the main exchange sucks just a little more than everyone thought. Their setup is not engineered properly to handle so much traffic. Nothing broken, nothing malicious, just a system design that can't possibly handle the load. There is supposedly a update to the trading engine that will help, but it is still in testing. In the mean time, there are plenty of other places to buy and sell bitcoin. I've been mtgox free for over a year and couldn't be happier with my setup for buying and selling coins.
