That makes them less prone to panic sell in the future.

Anyway! We've had big selloffs into Mt. Gox lag several times in the past month, and the market almost immediately bounced back in all such cases that I can remember. (I'd use visual aids here, but BCC is down.) That said, I'm perfectly fine with the price falling for a while.
