The price would rise or decline? Obviously, it is has been met after predicting 2013 or 2014 people would be know this (because maybe, the imagen would be viral) and because of that everything would be diferent.
What do you think?

Sorry if I did not explain well.
At first no one would believe me, because it would be pure speculation. But after seeing that the predictions are met with full accuracy, some people (maybe) know this, then decide to change things, and invest from a diferent way. That's the reason I said that after a year or two, the graph would be totally different.

In 2012, people would have laughed you to scorn if you had told them the price of bitcoin will one day be above $1000.

Even at present, $1000 seems like a far away dream.

if the figures were guaranteed to be true? a few weeks later bitcoin would be a few grand as everyone in the world piled in expecting a dead cert. then it would collapse when the buying stopped and it would go back to 2012 levels until the end of the decade.

It was expected that it would get $1000 eventually, but not expected to happen so soon. No amount of TA can predict the magnitude of irrational market behavior. It can predict the direction, and you can estimate price levels based on typical Fibonacci levels, but again, FOMO cannot be predicted accurately on such a scale.

it has always been like this. last year when i said price will rise to $1000 eveybody would have disagreed and said $200 is the real price and we will never rise again and now you can see $780 was reached.

well, saying this without any reason and analysis in 2012 would have only brought you ridicules. as it would today if you say bitcoin price will go to 10,000 with no reason or analysis.

MatTheCat predicted it would go to $1200, so he shorted it at $1.

People would probably think that you're an idiot. We dream again for a situation like that. Hope it comes soon.

I think the real question is will the price now become like the spike just after 2013
if so, the price would jump to at least a few thousand dollars.
(I don't think it will happen, but I can dream, right?)

Of course they will laugh and wont believe on you. Its just like in the current time someone saying price would be $10k-100k. Who wouldnt laugh that.

well, that's a bunch easier to laugh at. it's little bit more difficult and requires a few million or billion more people to get to those price levels.

If we know in advance the price would increase this much, we obviously would have put everything we could into it early. The problem is that there was no way to know.

People in 2012 will not easily trust you, because everybody can predict the price of bitcoin and i'm sure people will take it as a joke. But i think someone will trust you and investing some of their money.

If someone would have posted that image as a speculative prediction in 2012, then people would have reacted the same way they would have reacted to anyone else making predictions of $1k at that time. Some scoffed, others agreed.

Now if someone posted that image as actually what the future would be - a la the sports almanac that older Biff gave to younger Biff in the movie: Back To The Future II, which contained all the scores of every sports game for the last 50 years, then that would be a different story. Not to mention it would be dumb for that person to post what would actually happen for the obvious reasons.

for every opinion you will have to hear both sides, who are against the speculation and those who believe the speculation, so nothing new would happen,it would have been same,until and unless it was predicted by paul the octopus then i would agree this  prediction back in 2012;D ;D

It is certain that bitcoin will reach and even pass $1000. But I do not know how long it will take :-\

Those bitcoin's high price speculation is present in most of the PTC sites back then. Yes, part of the clickable ads and even banners of those PTC sites. Back then, I really ignore that thing since Im not really interested.

In here, regrets are really present in those people who encountered the term bitcoin in the past.

So if ever the same scenario will be present today, like some banners of $5000 per bitcoin will be spread throughout the virtual world, possiblility of attracting people is not that good in numbers, at least.

But, I like to speculate that bitcoin will be testing $10,000 price levels very soon as when hitting $1000 levels will attract more media coverage and new investors too. Once new money inflow starts, bitcoin may fly to moon too.

I really hope that this happens in the future and i believe in bitcoin and its potential that it can reach the price of well above 1000USD and yes its popularity gonna increase more and we may see more big investors coming in bitcoin world and surely because of that bitcoin price only gonna rise more and more.

Well, it can be sure that the trust would soon buy bitcoin in large numbers, even they would buy bitcoin until they have run out of money. but I think there are some of them also think that it is only speculation and predictions that are not fundamental, and if I was there, maybe I will think like that, but I would still look for bitcoin much as I can

Even it is for sure that nobody can predict the price confidently or can post the future trading graph, hypothetically thinking if someone been able to do so the peak on this graph will be even higher because more people will start to buy than in this graphs.

I don't think anyone would've believed it especially the 1k+ spike which seems incredible even the day today we can't reach that.
Hoping we'll get out an above the 4 digits though rather sooner than later, I hate dropping down every time.

Someone would laugh someone would believe and start to buy bitcoins. As today some of people say that bitcoin will rise to 6000$ to belive to it or to laugh? Everyone will chose for himself or herself.

I can say from experience that it happened to me, because I was at a party and a drunk geek told me that Bitcoin would be the thing of the future. This was mid way into 2011, when there was a little spike. I did not take him seriously, because at the end of December of that year, it flattened out again.

It was just after the peak in 2013, when I saw him again and he was driving a brand new car, that I took him seriously. Since then, I have been buying non-stop and most of that was from him at a small discount. ^smile^
