Who controls the block chain website? If no one does then who created the site

Blockchain.info website is owned (and therefore controlled and most likely created) by Roger Ver. Bitcoin block chain is controlled by no one.

The blockchain.info website is owned by the company so creatively called "blockchain". You can find out more about them in their "about" section on the site.

Its no more relevant to bitcoin than any other private company in the space, they just track the movements of the blockchain technology behind bitcoin.

Blockchain.info/.com was first  created in 2011 and announced in Bitcointalk : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=40264.0
I'm not sure who developed the website exactly but Nicolas Cary is the current CEO of the website and the investments came from Roger Ver as you can see here : https://rogerver.com/ (He is not the only one AFAIK)

yeah i think you are getting abit mixed up, blockchain.info is just a website run as a company.  the bitcoin blockchain is owned and run by no one induvidual, the community of miners, node owners and core development team are those who own it.

Blockchain.info is a free service offered to the community, which allows us to search for data stored on Bitcoin's Blockchain. There's similar 'block explorers" similar to blockchain.info such as blocktrail.com, blockscan.com, and blockexplorer.com

I think you should be more concerned about how secure this company is before deciding to keep your coins in their wallet. For me its not that secure, surely they have added almost any option of security in the new version of their wallet but they still remain an online wallet.

Blockchain.info is a bitcoin wallet provider company while blockchain is the ledger where all of the bitcoin transactions are made public and no one controls it.
