i think lbry has a good potential when the block reward will begin to decrease, so in about one month? i would buy that because it is entirely a new project with good fundamentals and not ico shit

I thought about that one because I've joined the beta few weeks ago, I'm just too scared about the risk, but hey maybe I'll jump in :P

Thank you man ;)

Small deposit to start trading. You already have the exchange?
Did not try to invest in ICO?

firstly, you need to exchange your dollars into bitcoin, then you have to select the market exchange like poloniex, bittrex or else. then you can start to trading and maybe you can grow your bitcoin than before. $65 is equal as 0.11287269 BTC and i think its enough to try trading btc-altcoin.

for exchange your dollars into bitcoin, you can try with local bitcoin or your friends that you know so you don't get scam.

the next thing is you need to choose the altcoin to buy.

Better of holding onto that $65 and instead just sign up for some free bounties. Trade those when the time is right... get a feel of how all of this works. You can make more from bounties than your $65 will get you anyway.

And forget any advice anyone gives you as far as investing in a specific coin. That basically equates to: invest in <whatever> because I also own it too.

What bounties do you suggest? I tried to do vanityGen custom addresses but my laptop Is so bad. My programming skills are also limited (I do some basic C++).

Signature, avatar, twitter and so on. It doesn't require any actual work besides just posting here in this forum once in a while.

That's how a lot of people started out, just go for freebies, then worst case, you can't lose any real money. Best case you turn those crumbs into multiple btc. Most recently Lisk free bounties probably were the most profitable... I think if sold at its high, it was about equivalent to 1 btc for sig/facebook/twitter bounties. Not bad for free.

With that low amount you can do altcoin trading and if you like to trade bitcoin/fiat pairs than what you could earn daily will be very small. I think lisk is at constant price for long term and it has potential to even double up when there will be any update or development in future which may take months but i think risk of lossing big if you buy lisk is very thin. Krypton (KR) is also at good price and actually some ETH lovers are attacking it after seeing potential of this ETH cloned coin.

Honestly its hard to choose what altcoin is the best to invest right now but i heard that monero has a good potencial to have a profit because its increased right now.. i bought my monero this past few days.. so that if monero will increase high i have a chance to sell them when the price is high..
Also dont forget bitcoin to usd and usd to bitcoin its more safeway to make a profit,

Before you trade alt coins, you must understand trading is high risk activity and you must be ready for lost your money in it. But if you want try trading alt coins, you can try on poloniex.com. and buy the coins who has price going up 2%-3%, then if you have profit you can sell the coins. It is just the theory you must be practice by your self until understand and make sure use idle money.

here is the list of all exchanges: http://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/
and here is the list of all crypto currencies: http://coinmarketcap.com/

as for exchanges choose one of the top exchanges that suits you well (if you like the platform, the rules, the fees, and the volume and in some cases if they have your favorite coin listed)

as for the coins try to choose it yourself because listening to others is not a good idea.
there are some coins that are hot right now: Lisk, Monero, Litecoin, ETC, SDC but there is always risks and you can't find  a risk free investment.

Listen to me no one can give you a name of good altcoin. because it is hard to say about an altcoin's future. I suggest you do day trading. if you want profit.
BTW if you still need a coin then there is nothing better then the Bitcoin it self.

can you do translations? there are good bounties for translators. if you are from a country which have a local board in this forum you can earn good money by translating altcoin's annoucements in your language.

I can do English->French translation and vice-versa! For now, the only thread I translated Is about ARK and got 10Bots for It. but still have to wait a long time until they generate income :D

Do you have bounties to suggest?

Erm, why not buy and hold bitcoin?  Altcoin trading is uber-risky, and you could very easily lose that $65.  Some of these shitcoins have lost 99% of their value overnight, and they end up in the crypto graveyard on Yobit.  Not to say that holding bitcoin is risky, because it is, but you could make money on it too.  Just look at the pop we've seen in the last 8 hours.

Just keep an eye our on the announcements for coins with bounties or giveaways. They always come up eventually.

Again, I suggest you do some signature/twitter/facebook bounties. It'll be for crumbs most likely, but at least you'll get your feet wet as to how this all works, how exchanges work and so on. You can turn freebie crumbs into a decent amount of btc... I know, as that's how I started out.

Because $65 worth of btc might eventually, one day, become like $100 worth of btc. And really with such small amounts, who cares? Why even bother?

So I can see the logic of 'investing' in altcoins, but would only suggest it to someone who is willing to throw away that $65 ... start off doing freebie stuff first, then a person will get a feel as to how this all works.

Basically trust nobody, assume every coin is manipulated, most devs use 'questionable' methods, and so on. Doubtful any alt coin will have a real use, btc barely has a real use, and just view this all as a weird game.

If you are going to plan to go in trading make search or join in group that they talking about trading where and when to buy alt coin so that you can minimize your lose because if you have a group you can pump the coin you want to buy so that you guys can earn more thats the advice i can give you for now.

I don't think someone with $65 to invest is in a position to be part of a pump group.

You must do monitoring the coins and The price for first, you must learn about it don't In a hurry buying the coins. Because trading is high risk activity and for the coins who has potential growing you can check on here https://coinmarketcap.com

Monitoring price over time is very valuable and necessary.

If you're getting started (and don't mind losing all of your $65) then try trading some coins at Yobit. Yobit has LOTS of coins listed and there's a lot of activity there to help you learn the ropes.

Trade on a reputable and high volume exchange like Poloniex, be a keen observer on which coin to trade on the btc market. Remember the top 10 old coins usually less riskier compared to others.

on poloniex you can found there is many altcoin with cheap rate and this coin can get pump in a night like few days ago and until now, the pump and dump still continue for altcoin with cheap rate so this is a good chance for you.
