Question how many people does those group has, soo its a group to buy and sell things for bitcoin? There are similiares groups doing this but at whats app. Its a good chanel to advertise as well some projects maybe?

Its a new group.
And its requested for to join us so that we could expand.

I just joined there and seems that only 2 participants are there, seems a blank chat group so I still prefer to use forum to trade things.
Skype is good too, about discussing about the price or products that the seller are selling or the buyers are interested to buy.

Well could proceed to be a good idea if the group gets some good and trusted members with the time, i would like to join actually (people can trust me too btw, lol), sending you a PM with my skype ID.

I clicked on the link and it redirected me to launch the skype application and got into the skype group.
Currently I'm the second participant there, let's see how many people will join and what will be going there.

I have some tips ready for this thing.

I do not think that people will be interested to join is such a group. If you want to create a Skype group you need to be specific as of whats that group will deal into and not just buying selling of all items related to bitcoins.

I don't like the idea of Skype marketplace as in skype people are more anonymous and they can easily scam someone. And even the one who may try to provide escrow over skype can easily run away if they get good amount to hold. How you think you will handle this problems?

This skype will provide you an instant way to find buyers and sellers.
All deals will need to be confirmed via this forum thought PM.
IF you post a thread here it goes ignored but it may be useful for others but they don't find it.
Here at this group you can get those buyers and sellers fast.

I haven't created it, I just joined there and until now there have been joined some people but it's good know who sells what.
So in case you need something urgent you can contact directly the sellers and/or you are free to post in the forum whichever comes faster.

Are you gonna expand your Skype group by extending it to social media?
If you are into Skype already then you will have no problems with creating Facebook group which potentially can be more recognized.
The problem with Skype groups is that they usually are closed 'clubs' and new members rarely join.

Will just agreeing with your suggestion, facebook will be better than skype in the potentially, and I think facebook will more familiar than skype and be better if there are a public person is trying joining in that.

Not all have social media accounts or don't want to reveal their personal details through facebook.
Facebook group is not bad but for starting I think skype is enough but from what I see until now there is not much activity.

I have joined the  group and i saw theres  only 19 participants on it and  i try to message but no one responds. I would like to ask if this  group is still active?  Hence im interested  on Skype marketplace which is really a good idea on selling things up on a community.

There is not enough feedback from the another member into this idea are make the group has under 20 people....  it's a good way but the demand is already the word of good be not enough then good.

How can we be sure that this group is safe to use. As you know bitcoin is 100% anonymous and there is no reversal in payment should you pay anyone even if the person did not or fails to deliver what you ordered. I think, we need more clarification on this group activities.

Slack seems that is not popular here in forum besides those that force you to join on their discussions.

The skype group is still active and there many sellers but this group i consider for making connection and the deals are made then on private.

It's nice someone create a group chat marketplace. But this is need to attract buyer not only seller, because my experience with group like this is mostly members is seller.
Just question how to make a deal when it's need an escrow?

I think the bitcointalk skype marketplace should run a signature campaign on this forum so more people would be aware and there will be more participants.

I think that the number of seller is higher than the number of buyers.
It is just as a connection or talking faster than in forum for things to buy or sell so i think escrow is a must and it can be any forum trusted escrow.

Interesting idea but maybe not totaly defined. What are the advantages of this group comparing to forum except maybe faster communications? And it is designed to buy/sell something specific or not?  Besides the group could become closed circle and that is not good for buyers or selleres, the interest is to have your services available to the largest number people possible.

Since OP is not often online I'm replying you since I see what happens there, the audience is very small comparing to forum.
Faster communication means faster deal but I encourage people to use escrow, this group is just an alternative.

Nope, it's no need. the skype are just covering small areas. it's having a limitation, totally slack or telegram are better in my mind, because some member of the skype group are already said if mostly the member in there are the seller and rarely about the buyer.
