I confirm this. Same scenario here.

What happened: Sent Bitcoin for Paypal, never received any funds and the user has blocked private messages.

Additional Notes: This user has reputation points and a relatively large number of posts thus prolly a compromised account.

I am sorry for your getting scammed. I messaged you earlier to do a trade and you responded but it was late so I went to sleep. Then I see your message that had this happen to you.
Next time you should wait on all you responses to your request too exchange because not all of us are in the same time zone you know. :-\

Yep, if a green-trusted account gets bought you can expect a scam.  Usually it's for more than this, but thankfully it wasn't this time.  Small consolation for the two here who got scammed.  And he'll probably be back in a few days to claim his account was hacked.  That's the bitcointalk.org scammer's formula.

And for next time you have to check the account before make transaction, does is it change the password or not. And i am sorry for your getting scamed and i am support for you always be patient.
