I was watching some cars on my way home, and I was thinking.. we city people spend a lot of time in traffic and in traffic jams.. just looking at the

back window of the car in front of us. Why not make that space, prime advertisement for Bitcoin. We get some people to design something funny and

stick it in the back window of your car, it has to have something to do with Bitcoin. What do you think?

I like it as a way to increase the exposure, but I'm afraid a lot of people don't want to stick an "ugly" sticker to their car.

Also, one concern would be that in the car, people can't grab their phone and look up what bitcoin is. They may have already forgotten about it when they get to their destination.

On the other hand, the more people see bitcoin stuff, the more it get stuck in their subconscious, so it may work if enough people put one of them.

Think its a very good idea and the perfect chance for someone to open a small business if it hasnt already been done before

I've actually seen plenty of bitcoin stickers at the back of the cars. people usually put them at the bottom of the window. never seen anything funny or amusing though. just plain btc stickers.

Maybe it's an interesting idea, but the thing is chances are there aren't going to be a lot of people who are going to remember your sticker, let alone go and actually look up bitcoin just based on seeing it on the back of the vehicle. A lot of stickers are decorations and not advertisements, so you really have to take a lot of that into account and make sure it'll be worth the time.

I would absolutely put a BTC sticker on my car.  Does anyone have a link to where you can buy one of these using BTC as a form of payment.

Some time ago one guy from Canada offered ad space for bitcoin related service sticker on his Nissan GTR. I think it would be good idea to advertise bitcoin on car, especially if you live in big city, where you spend lot of time in traffic jams and have new car.

nice idea just like genesis mining did but not much. if bicoin is advertise all over the city through cars it is going to get more appearance since highest percent of people are on the road everyday.

Let's be honest,no one will start using Bitcoins just because he saw a sticker on the back window of a random car he will probably forget it before he reaches his destination,but I believe that this is not a bad idea because the more people are seeing the Bitcoin logo the more familiar are becoming with it and this may help them to accept it easier as a currency in the future.

This really is a good idea that might work!! I kept in mind lots of companies just by watching a car's sticker. Thanks for the great idea, now I have to print it :D I guess Bitcoin clothing would be an option too, lol.

I could see myself putting a "Bitcoin Accepted Here" window sticker on the back window of my car.

That is the nice idea, with that people will try to search about bitcoin on internet and will start to learn about it and will know about the features of it, they will adopt it for their uses, when I will have a car I will use that technique.

It will work if many cars in one city have the same bitcoin stickers. If people will see several cars with the logo, they would think of "What's with that logo?" and "Why several cars have that logo?". People might be curious if that's the situation and search for it on the web but if it's only one car I don't think that it will work, maybe people will just ignore it.

Actually it's a good idea though. So, people can notice the bitcoin stickers and they will curious for sure, what is bitcoin. I think bitcoin stickers is good for spread the information to all people.

might just be good to also add something that will make people interested and not just a logo. Maybe "Bitcoin the Future" or something like that.
an individual carrying a mobile might just try to google bitcoin just when they see it.

The people who heard a bit about Bitcoin, then forgot would get their memory jogged by a Bitcoin sticker on a car. After they remembered they might start finding more about Bitcoin and join the community.

Besides the stickers I think a Bitcoin adaption of the nodding dog in a car's back window might draw attention.

While it's not gonna have much of an impact, I think it's a good idea. It's fun when you see other people into bitcoin too IRL.

I have already seen such stickers on the back boot window of some cars. I guess it can be quite effective to increase awareness about Bitcoin, but the people may just disregard as some random advertisement. I don't think it is quite effective. Plus most people wouldn't like to put stickers on the back of their cars.

I think it is a pretty good idea, but if one or two people do this nobody will notice. If on the other hand you see every second car with a Bitcoin sticker, you will feel like you are being left out and you will get curious. Where can we buy these stickers, or is this just an concept or an idea at this stage?

I've seen alot of the stickers on digital equipment. I like the way they look at the advertisement, it would be a nice exposure cause as you said in any busy capital you'll have lot's of traffic and being stuck in traffic you are just watching the car infront most of the time. Maybe the sticker should contain a more information link.

Personally I would not put any stickers of Bitcoin because putting stickers on you car would only damage the paint and I love my car.
I would help manage to get Bitcoin allot of attention if many people would do this.

Putting a Bitcoin sticker on a car or a Big logo on the bonnet sounds like the way to go for massive exposure just watch out for stinger missiles fired from helicopters organised by the fiat banks,

kids in the backseat will also be saying mummy and daddy wats that logo mean, the parents will be covering their eyes and saying, don't look it pure evil :)

in fact i like it enough to think about making a sticker for myself and do it. i just have to design a nice bitcoin logo and the moon and find some place that can print it on those special papers (sticky) and stick it on the glass.

I prefer to wear some cool Bitcoin shirts.
In big cities when you're walking through shopping malls and crowded places you will definitely attract some attention.
The people might start to talk with you but they will definitely have a short focussed look on what's on your shirt.
Best is to have shirts printed on the front and back side.

Not that long ago a younger guy, probably 16 years old, recognized my BTC shirt, came over to me and said: BTC is awesome dude!Buying all my games with it now.
No kidding!

So shirts, stickers for cars or , emblems, bracelets etc. can help to get some attraction.

Ever thought about a bitcoin tattoo?
Ther are not many of them out there yet.
But there is a guy who has a Bitcoin Qr code tattooed on his arm.
I am wondering if that thing is really working...

Wow.  It is such an awesome idea.  By doing that we could make some people curious about what bitcoin is.  Curiosity will lead then to interest and by that we would help the bitcoin to flourish and make it stronger on the market.  If many people will use bitcoin the demand for it will get high and  so its price.  In addition we could rely and not worry if how long will bitcoin will be around in this world.  By the way, will you ask the bitcoin personnel to pay you for the advertising?

I don't think if you're putting your sticker in the window of your car is will damaging your car's paint, putting sticker is not forever always in the body of your car. LOL

i think its a good idea to make promote bitcoin like that and when you ride your car in highway, people can look the word of "bitcoin" and i think they will be guess that word, and if you park on some place, many people will look at your car with the "bitcoin" and maybe people will come after you and ask what is bitcoin.

Nice Idea, but where shop offers stickers for bitcoin so that we can start advertising bitcoin in our community while we driving in our streets, Some Suggestion, I want to add some design if you want to create your own stickers, add some thing that when person will see that they have question in theyre self, so that they google it and find what is bitcoin

Putting ad stickers on private cars is nothing new. Almost all small businesses do it and there are also some opportunities to get paid as a private individual to place someone's else advertising on one's car. However the latter use case has not seen really widespread adoption. One reason could be that people are too emotionally attached to their car and see it as an expression of their personality. Therefore they may fell that putting ad stickers on it might have a negative impact on the impression they make. Another reason may be that payments for this kind of advertising are pretty low.

Of course, a Bitcoin enthusiast does not have to bother about that and could just print some stickers and put them on his/her car. It's easy and affordable - no need for starting an official campaign. However I can imagine that many Bitcoiners are still hesitant to do this because of security reasons: What if Bitcoin rises even more in value and everybody in the city knows you own some?
