I know that maybe you don't want to share the information on how you find a wallet.dat password but can you point what kind of brute force program are you using ? I am not interested myself as I know very well my password and soon will get a hardware wallet but if you want to make any sale here you should post more about your method. Otherwise no person will contact you.

Though this service is highly needed but the op does not have any trust level and i doubt if anyone can trust him with his/her btc wallet.dat, on the other hand are you only specialized in the btc wallet.dat alone? what about other altcoins wallet.dat

This will be really serious but if you can really do this there is a particular thread can't remember the link but you can search for it there is a bounty of 1btc for whoever find it with its private key and its address. It has been lying there for over a year. If you can find it, dont forget to send my share  ;D

What compute power you would need to have to manage that is just no believable at all, also 50% fee is also not in way to strange to anyone trust you

Yes, highly impossible to crack a 12 char length passwords within a week.

I guess we can ask him to prove himself by cracking a password of a zero balance wallet file, still his previous activities not worth it, I feel.

By the way, why not we can ask him with a lesser length like 8 or 10 character password wallet file (to have quicker results). We can watch how funny it will go at the same time it will prevent any scammers from their future attempts.

I doubt it'd work; it's pretty much impossible to bruteforce such a long password, especially 12-character ones. Shorter passwords could probably be cracked, but I really doubt you can trust this guy at all. In addition, you're a newbie; I don't have anything against newbies, but offering a service like this on a new account is pretty suspicious. Unless you vouch for someone that you cracked his 12-pw dat, or provide sufficient proof, nobody's going to use your service, and even then I doubt you'd get customers.

Based on what he wrote above your post this maybe just a kid who wants some easy money and cannot crack passwords at all. He also was running or promoting a hyip ponzi website in games and rounds and thats enough for a person to not be trusted.

What other information would you require to crack a password? can you do it with online wallet too?

It may be possible using a large botnet. If you have - say - 1 million computers at your disposal without any cost for you.
Considering the language Uottys uses, it's at best a troll. If not, I'd be happy to create a wallet.dat file with a 10 digit password for Uottys to show his skills on.
