Post by: bitster on March 29, 2013, 07:45:32 PM
There's a bitcoin article on yahoo, some of the comments are so dumb it makes my head hurt.  http://finance.yahoo.com/news/bitcoin-cyprus-sparks-scramble-digital-164900785.html

Gold, silver and real estate are the only true forms of wealth, time tested and the only reason paper money is given value is because people falsely believe it has value.

"guns and ammo they can come for that to but it would cost them plenty."
I'd like to see how well one asshat with a pile of guns and ammo would fare against a swat team... :P oh right, we do see that every day.

Yeah, the comments on that one reminded me of articles written in late 2011. The level of ignorance is astounding, even considering it's Yahoo/CNBC!

The article itself wasn't *that* bad, though the "digital dollars" in the title makes me squirm a little.

They'd like to give emphasis on the quote, without adding anything extra to it.

But you're welcome to hit ignore, if it bugs you so.  That's all on you, and has nothing to do with anybody else.

It's ok - they still have to hear about it 6 more times before conversion.
