I've been in bitcoions for over a year and a half and I'd like to get into mining. What recomendations for equipment can you give me? Short term anything will do which has a positive profit margin. (e.g. GPUs) - the key metric is the compute the "cost" of generating a bitcoin (including hardware costs) and comparing it to the market price.Longterm you should consider acquiring one of the ASIC mining devices. They are much more power efficient. However, expect the specs to go through huge changes throughout the next 2 years.
