However.... I can pretty much guarantee he'll either ignore your message, or if he does answer it'll probably be a oneliner telling you to wait untill the next auction (if he allows you to bid at all). There's a reason he auctions off ad slots, and i think that reason is the fact that he doesn't want to deal with PM's asking him to buy ad slots (this is what i think the reason is, i'm not 100% sure about it) ;)

I think the best option would be start a signature campaign here,it is one of the best ways to advertise your product,games or site,almost any thing.
You may those how much people to hire according to your budget,so it would be more cheap and give you promotion in this forum as well.
