I want buy some BTC but I do not know if I should buy right now or waiting for the end of the year of 2016.
Please help me to get a good decision. Thank you

Just  listen to your heart, Actually no one knows what would be happens with bitcoin price in the future, but some people guessing if bitcoin price will rise (just like now, bitcoin price rising from $570 to $600 now).

The timespan is to big if you ask me but that aside if you cant choose between both, you can decide to buy now 50% and later on 50%.

as you can see bitcoin price is already up about $30 compared to last weeks. and if you ask me i tell you the price is going to keep on rising, especially in the long term, meaning it may stay at 600 or go down to 570 but in a couple of months the price will be higher than this (700+)

but also you should make your own decisions and assess the risks yourself.

I think it's a good plan to buy bitcoin and wait untl the end of the year 2016. I predict the price of bitcoin will be increase in the end of the year 2016 same as the last year that the price of bitcoin increase.

If you have some spare money to spend on shi...stuff I would suggest you to buy
some bitcoins now. Go safe and buy with 50% of your budget. If a new rising trend
appear you can always buy in with the rest of the funds.
No point in waiting IMO. Don't bother with price fluctuations, just hold them,
for times to come. Check you security, scan your PC and such, use good wallet and go equip yourself with someBTC.

Is the year mentioned in OP is right or mistakenly put 1 before 0. As in post title its mentioned 2106, but thinking it might be 2016. Bcz peoples who are active in forum will not be alive in 2106.

You mean the big bump right but every year last month we can see the price is slightly high so as much you can buy some bitcoins and put into the cold storage or desktop wallet now and if he sell that time Price will would be high and he can make good profit.

Its everything already predefined that price of bitcoin will be sky height in upcoming future. Just bcz Bitcoin is prime currency of cryptoworld. Many of altcoins are coming day by day.

Listen to your heart. But honestly, If I were you, I'd buy one btc or two and store it on a cold wallet and save it for a few years from now, because from 2017, the price of btc will only be rising. Tho that's just my opinion.

It is hard to decide 2106 its a long time ago and i think people can not wait for that year its a new generation.
If you buy right now better to hold it and sell it timing this year or this following year depends how much is the price from this present to future price..

I have been predicted based on my feelings, that bitcoin prices will rise at the end of the year, or at least can be larger than the current price. do not be so bad if it only reached $650-700. I myself will hold until the end of the year.

No one know the exact time to buy or sell, as it is really hard to predict the price of Bitcoin, maybe you can try to buy small amount over the period of time to watch over the market price movement

If you buy bitcoin at any rate as some point of time price will be higher. So you won't lose anything.
The only question is how long will you have to wait. But do it now - apparently we are on rising trend right now.
There is high probability that price will reach $700 soon.

look very good if you buy and wait for price increases later this year. seeing as the previous year the prices are always increased at the end of the year. I hope it happens also at the end of 2016. $700 it is possible to reach by the end of this year.

I think you should have bought bitcoins about 1 week ago,the bitcoin price was aroung 570USD but now it has reached 600USD but still i think you can buy right now because i believe till the end of this year the bitcoin price would have surely more value than it has now.

never to late if you want to buy now, because the rate will always be increase as the difficulties increase too and bitcoin can be an investment for you. for some advice, better you wait until the rate reach the bottom line of the rate, somewhere in the range under $630, but if the rate is up trend, then you can buy at that rate but only for small amount for first to watch the rate movements, is it true to up or just correction.

Wait, do you mean 2016 OR 2106? It makes a difference ;D I would not wait until 2106 because that far future is very difficult to predict even with rough estimation. In that much time BTC as well as crypto-currency could not only reach new skies, but new depths too ( quantum-computing and similar threats... ). Overall, I think we will be able to develop with BTC further, but it is super complicated to tell how BTC network can deal with the new threats in the future and for how much influence they will have on BTC. Now, BTC is in a mostly stable period so if you are willing to invest into BTC, I consider it a good time to do so or you could wait the end of 2016 where companies can re-consider their plans and relation with BTC and you can take their relation as factor into your decision.

Its safe bet to buy right now. Bitcoin is very cheap (remember there was halvening it matters a lot).

Yes bitcoin price has rised a bit this last week and reache $600 again so buying bitcoin a week ago would already have given some profit.I am actually still holding my bitcoin so buy bitcoin now would be more wiser decision than to wait more till price of bitcoin rises even more.

With unforeseen I mean something like a hacked exchange, that can not be predicted.

It is upto you to decide when to buy but i can give one advice is that dont go with full amount of investment in buying in one shot you split your buying with 25% now and if their is any price low you can go more 25% like this your purchase rate will also get averaged and you can book profit if their is any high price.

the situation will be the same, and there is only 3 possibilities:

1) we are either at a higher price which you will again decide to wait more for a fall to buy.
2) or the price is stable which again you will not be able to make a decision, so you keep waiting for the fall
3) there is actually a fall, but again you keep waiting because you are going to think it is risky to invest and it may fall more.

Well, while technically correct as price of BTC after next halving will be definitely higher (if we won't encounter any random events along the way).
But it is whole FOURS years from now. Buying bitcoin now and wait four years is not something many people would do or have the patience to try.

It is safe to assume that price will be higher event before next halving. Plus, from what I noticed price of BTC is always higher in Q4 of every year.

If you are still in doubt and you are not comfortable buying just in one go because maybe the price will go down in the following months then think also of the possibility that the price may go up because no one really knows what will happen to the price. I can suggest that you can buy just 25% this month and 25% the next since there's four months until the end of the year you can already buy 100% of your budget for the bitcoin. This way, you can use the averaging of the four months of how much really is your bitcoin worth and you will not be so affected by the fluctuation in prices.

The bitcoin price is still high and it will continue to get the price high for me or im suggesting that you should buy bitcoin right now because if you're going to wait until the coins going to decrease it will take you year's and for sure you can make that bitcoin grow in a month if you have knowledge already about bitcoin then.

Just buy now,I'm always advising and advocating for buying BTC.There's no best time to buy BTC,so you may as well buy it now so you don't regret it later.Also be careful with the storage of the BTC.It's that simple really.

Buy now and dont wait till end of this year price could goes up by that time  and you'll regret it. Atleast if you buy now even if price fall, $600 is easier to reach unlike if you bought in 4-digit price then followed by price fall it could take up more than a year.

The best advice I can give to anyone who are wondering whether to buy or not:

1. Current 'lower' BTC price is caused by that bitfinex hack - if that didn't happen bitcoin would be sitting pretty on $700-$800 right now. Price is lower now because of that.
2. Market is currently trying to consolidate in preparation for huge leap. So price might get lower $20-$30 in next few days, and then we could see advance movement.

Conclusion: if you want to buy, don't wait for winter, wait a week or so, if price will be still stable/lower that ~$610 by then - buy.

I think everyone here expect increase before the end of the year. Some bad things happened, and price didn`t went up after halving maybe cause of that. I watched movement of the price in past years, and always after summer and before the end of the year price is going up. Like there is a truth that people are on holidays and after they return they continue to work and things start to move a bit faster.
You should buy bitcoins, and price is still bellow 1000 $, if you have time to wait you should buy and just sit and wait.

For me, anything in the $550 to $600 range is still a buy. Since the price is stabilizing at just a little over $600, we are in a safe zone for now. I do agree on Chief Rostadom it is better to buy bitcoins as i will do on this coming christmas than to buy a lot of things or expensive goods .  We can cashout a minumum amount that we need on christmas but then smart using and saving of money.as you have as extra money anytime on this year ,nextyear is a good time to buy as bitcoins price grow and grow by years and its popularity will be widely use on bitcoin accepted countries.

I agree it is really up to the individual if they have the money to buy now why not, well even if they want to buy now and they don't have the money to buy now then they need to save some money so they can buy their version of 'buy now".  But it would be best if we buy BTC in this early than waiting next year, it is not because of the price increase but it is because of the ventures (business or trade venture) that we can do during this time.

I have the same assumption, but abit lower than what you stated.  It would be around 650 usd next month and 800 usd at the end of the year. if this thing is about to happen then i can say now is the right time to buy Bitcoin.  It will book you a profit of 200 usd at the end of the year.  It is around 30% profit.

It's currently 6-8 dollars above 600. It would take a few seconds to go below that. Every time people bellow on here 'we will never see x price again' x price tends to appear within the next couple of hours and then goes far lower.

I still think the price is too cheap right now, and the price is unlikely to go down from here.

You might save like $10 per bitcoin but the downside is much larger.

Last Christmas that didn't happen, actually there is a price increase as far as I remember... I don't expect the price at the end of this year to be much higher then now, although there is a chance for the november bump like we had last  year. I don't think that we will see price of $650 in next week, as few days back price was around $611 and now it is $600 so we may see price going even lower in coming days.

I think the ups and down of bitcoin price is due to the current situation of bitcoin at this point.  Several observant said that bitcoin is at the correction stage of its price now.  It is still unknown if bitcoin will increase or decrease in price unless there is some major event like new big company adopting bitcoin that will surely boost bitcoin popularity or hacking of another exchange that will bring in bad press for bitcoin.  But well investment have its risk so, i think if you are into investing in Bitcoin don't waste time to buy it next year.

there is nothing that indicates that the price will go up next week. we will just stay at current levels for a few more weeks, unless a large trader gets tired of waiting for action, and start with dumping as result. having said that, i don't really mind the price staying at the current levels for a longer time. the average joe gets attracted by stability.

How are you sure that the price will drop on december? Do you have any factor to considered? Because based on my observation on the price of bitcoin. The price is always inflating when december is coming opposite from your speculation. I think Christmas bonus gives a huge factor on inflation of price.

I think waiting till the end of 2016 is going to be a mistake. Bitcoins price is acting very scary right now swinging little up and down.

Nah the price will most likely lower a bit and than you can buy the bitcoin for a cheaper price and make more profit at the end.
At the end of this year it will lower a bit first and than rise to a higher amount!

I don't think waiting for  another 3 months  is worth it if there is no increase  or decline in price.  It would be better to buy them  now and try to multiply it while waiting for the price increase.  This way you can have an exponential increase in your profit when time comes that the price hit your sell price target.

You might as well buy them now.  Unless it is important that you get them back out with out a loss.  I am not saying that the price is going to drop but it is possible.  The overall point is that it will go back up.  If you buy in at $600, somewhere in the next 365 days you will see it higher than that and likely by $50-100.  There may be some period where it is lower, but it will not last.

Move out your fiat funds and buy bitcoin now. What if the price went down after you bought some? Hold and have your extra cannonballs to be used on buying again.

I would wait a bit more and wait on till the price lowers a bit and than buy them as fast as possible when the price is lower.

I am also buying btc for my investments be it on trading or investing into reliable gambling sites. So I guess just buy it now because btc is still increasing and my belief is that it will reach around 650 before 2016 ends. There's also a thread here that btc price will soar high in around 2 weeks wihle showing his graphical analysis.

At a time like this where the market has been essentially flat for months, your decision on whether to buy really boils down to whether or not you have confidence in Bitcoin or not. With this much stability, there is no way to predict with TA what way the market is going to move. You can't say there is going to be some imminent retracement of the large move that just happened because there wasn't one.

i think it is not the better time to buy bitcoin . i will suggest you keep attention evry hour at the fluctuate ratr of bitcoin . because in my opinion the rate will fall more and more in the next month . after one month it will start rise .

I think by the end of this year the Bitcoin's price will be higher than nowadays, so basically buying bitcoins right now is better in my opinion, as you can make some profit if you hold your coins.

Its better if you buy Bitcoins right now, because there is many predictions that the Bitcoin's price will increase by the end of this year.

But if we can't buy bitcoin now, then it would be better to figure out how to get the bitcoin. because it will give something good for us or eliminate the sense of regret. I dont think you should buy them right now because the price is to gigh you know lots of people are dumping their coins so the price is ojnly going up so buying does not work right now.

Altcoin market is really unpredictable since the beginning. If we always found it hard to make a decision then we can't really face the risk of buying and selling bitcoin.

But well since you admit that you are full of doubts regarding in that matter, it's fine if you won't participate in those buy and sell activity as long as you receive your bitcoin earnings on a regular basis.

On the  contrary  maybe it is  an uptrend now, so it might be late when you decide to buy  your coin.  Maybe you wont be seeing this price again just like those who hesitate to buy bitcoion when it was at 400 usd, now they are full of regret because they should have booke profit by now if they bought Bitcoin that time.

I think best decision would be to buy bitcoin as soon as possible. Judging from the behavior of the price it seems like value won't drop below 600 that easily anymore.
So the price will only go up from this point so you should buy them now instead of end of the year.

I also think at the end of this year buying is not good but keep in mind that you can make a lot of money with it if you are doing it on the right time.

I don't think that price is too high at a moment, in fact it is a descent price to buy and make profits in future as it is predicted that price will go much higher at the end of the year.

I will say buy right now because I see it going up to $700 in the winter months that are to come. Everytime it goes up in the colder months because alot of people have nothing better to do then stay inside and trade bitcoins so that in turn brings the price up. ;D

You indeed could have better bought some bitcoins a while ago because right now the price is pretty high and I do not think that selling is good right now.
You most likely can even better wait on a lower price!

I think that buying right now is better than waiting because the price will from now only go upwards due to the fact its a growing market and we are almost at the end of this year, I think that you should buy right now, how quicker how better.

I don't think it will jump that quick anymore but I do think you should buy now if you still want to buy this year cause in my opinion bitcoin will be going up from 600 only instead of down in the next few months so price is going to be lowest it can be for a while.
