Hi,

I lost money with cryptos at first when i was a newb. After hassle, i've found my own 'official' trading tactic. For my first month (well, 3weeks actually)

I started on 15-08 with 500 euros. Today I booked 200 euros profit. I only do the exchange trading now, not margin. I will rest 1 week and then continue when i see a profit window again

Congratulations, 40% profit within three weeks is absolutely amazing. Since we are communicating on a community, it would be great if you can share your technique (or you can also sell it in marketplace section) and it’s completely all right if you don’t want to share.

I would also ask, you have said that you suffered a loss in cryptos so does your new method is completely different than cryptos? And you are talking about trading thus I don’t think so.

if you look at the position of your account, you can see that you are still a newbie. lol.
did you really booked that much profit ? if so then why dont you give us the proof to see that you actually made that much profit in just a few weeks ? and if you dont want to show the proof then why did you make this thread ? what is the point of making this thread if you dont want to share your technique with others ? one minute, did you make this thread just to showoff ? lol.

and also 200 Eur profit from 500 in one month is equal to 40% profit in a month so it is not a huge amount and now a small amount either. I would call it a middle ground of profit in altcoin market although the amount is high the percentage is not.

and I agree that there is no point in this thread and should be moved to trashcan unless OP is contributing something in this topic apart from talking about his money!!

also, if I wanted to guess I would have said he bought XMR 3-4 weeks ago and sold it on top multiple times to make that much profit easy. XMR had a huge volume and has gone up more than 100%

I never understood altcoin trading. Why would someone bought xmr 3 weeks ago. It is the same thing as buying a lottery ticket. You just buy altcoins and wait for them to get pumped. What if they get dumped and die? It's pure gambling.

it is a bit off-topic here but let me try to explain.

that is the difference between traders and this is the exact reason why you can see at least a dozen topics asking is trading == gambling!

you don't just go around buy random altcoins and hope for a rise, you look around, do some research see what is happening and then buy a potential.

in case of monero, it has always been one of the good coins which is old and could survive this long, it actually offers something that can be useful so it is not a random coin saying we are good.
then you see in the news a lot of talk about monero, dark market, the potential of it to become a currency used in those areas and also check the exchanges to see the volume being high and also growing.

these with a lot of other analysis can help you find such potentials and make your investment.

There is actual reason for the recent pump of monero, that is well known dark web marketplace started accepting monero along with bitcoin. which is quite big news for monero as majority of bitcoin uses is on darkweb so it was pretty sure that monero will get pump after this news.

However there is not reason behind usual altcoin pump / dump but sometimes movement can be predicted with the news/announcement.

Good to see you are able to make profit after initial loss. Most people if lost at the beginning just leave trading,but you have stayed here and it has paid you. Will appreciate if you can share which site you used for trading. It will help other also.

Congratulation for your profit, the most important you must use trading tactic who give profit constantly from trading. And don't forget sometime you must cut lost when you have made wrong position on trading.

That's why i always believe if the failed will become a way for them to the success in the future. learning from another past experience will give a more and different for our body and mind and trying for thinking with more effotrt for finding the way for solve our problem.

Op, can you disclose a bit what exactly are you are trading? By sharing this information you won't diminish your profit at all, so it is totally fine.
Are you trading bitcoin<=>FIAT exclusively that is why you take a time off now? Or you focus or altcoins?

This is basically worthless information if you not say how you did it. Everyone can say I booked €200 profit with trading. Did you do it through altcoins, solely trading BTC/Fiat. Did you invest in an ICO where you got some profits from?

Guys dont get crazy ! the tactic is simple learn to read the charts, in other words do you homework, read & discuss where are you thinking to put your BTC
And this period was super easy to make a shitload of profit , from Monero & Stratis  easy triple & easy double
and you are not believe him about that 40% he made ....

it seems like OP had just made a topic to gloat about some "numbers" that may not even be true.
and even if that is true, someone who has been a newbie is trading can not become an experienced trader over night and start earning 40% profit over the course of 3 weeks, he either gambled on an altcoin and won or he is confused about the number of zeros.

although i hope he comes out of this silence and talks about it a little!

When you start to trade or gamble as a newbie, sure you will lose, I am sure that no one has a free of losses history whether in trading or in gambling, therefor it is natural case in order to get more experience, because when you lose you discover how your money is valuable, and that will make you cautious.

When I am talking about being a newb, I'm talking about the days that i just met bitcoin. I easily fell for scam so that in that matter i lost quite alot of money back then. The last 2 years, ive been trading on bitfinix with smaller amounts. I didn't want to loose money as friends so i dediced to start with a small amount. It didn't grow but also didn't shrink much, untill the hack

By that time i also got involved with reading about gulden. It's based in my home country and there are several reasons why I decide to start using it. For me it is the easy exchanging and clear wallets. I also now use a spreadsheat to keep my notes and orders, which i didn't do before.

Moral is maybe; know where you decide to invest in, because if you know what you're dealing with you'll easier make profits

nicely said mate, the moment you enter the trade you should now what is the basic to avoid losing investment, congrats to you mate and i hope many more success to come your way.

if you bought on 0.004 - 0.0075 range and sold to 0.015 0.02 it is x2 x3 or if you had insider info (he didnt) can go up x4 - x5 and im not talking about smart money buy-in entrys..

You need insider info to bank any profit that is noticeable and not just small amount of dust that you lose in tx fees anyways when you withdraw from exchanges.

I agree with this, OP doesnt make this topic just  to show of  his  profits  but  he stated about  his  experiences and   hard times  on gaining bitcoin. Trading is  been commonly suggested by almost  users here in this forum but in reality trading is not easy as  it sounds because you would need  knowledge and  analyzing skills  to be  profitable with it and as  you said you would definitely need to tally  or  making some notes in order  to follow your trading pattern.

Congratulations on your earnings. That is really a lot of profit. This inspire me to invest more in trading. I know the risk will always be there, but knowing that its possible to gain a lot of profit, its gives hope.

if you want to start you should never go in big time, instead it is a lot better to go in small and start from there.
i don't know OP so from what he said in his comment i can assume he is not been doing this for long and that much profit can be a lucky break just he same way you can get lucky in a gambling.
but if he can keep it up for a couple of months then that is worth something.

If you start with trading you will be happy with your first profit and yes you should be happy, but remember there is more then winning, you will see that you will get losses too, which is not bad, just make sure that you trade with caution and you will be fine.

But remember, that there are risks associated always with the money you are trading with, so don't get over-excited and don't go ahead of the bars and never try to play big, because if you will play big, you will play dirty and it will ruin everything... Just trade with care...

Though I booked this high profit earlier, one of the most noticeble changes in my habbits is that for now a penny saved is a penny earned counts. It is always easy to fall for high profits, but in reality the risk is mostly higher. Better is to take small cuts each time. I decided to start trading with a bigger capital because i thought: well the bank gives me maybe 1% interest on this a year, atleast i can do that 1% quicker

i would like to see you share your experience in trading and which site you are using for your trade and what all coins made you the profit,it would be helpful for everyone out there who are new to trading. Personally i am stuck with many coins at the moment,may be i am a bag holder,what ever it is i will be holding those coins for some time and will only exit when i see a reasonable price to exit.

It is nice that you are inspired by this thread and want to take action but before that you should never forget that learning and knowledge are very important, maybe instead of investing more you should learn more.

Big profit you have made but it's hard to keep it constant. There will be ups and downs that is for sure but you've made the point when you said that things weren't so smooth at the beginning. Now you probably have your own strategy that you will follow and hope for the best in the future. With more, time, experience and knowledge I hope you will become even more successful.

Most of traders have passed the same phases , they lose in the beginning then they gain experience , after that they start to make profit , but you did not give further information like what the sites you use or when you buy/sell . Some traders make much more profit , so you can share and improve your strategy.

not many people can reach 200euro in first month for profits and there is still depend on luck to reach that amount and i think you have your luck. continue for make a good trading for next month, rinse and repeat and you can be a rich man finally.

The sudden rise of Monero was due to Darknet markets suddenly accepting it aside to Bitcoin. I remember when the announcement was first made, price went up a lot.

So it might be a good idea to also follow news from them, in case they decide to add support for other more privacy oriented coins.
Or if there are new markets dealing exclusively in Monero.

My trading career does improve somewhat overtime. I still make sometimes trades that are not that smart (for example: selling on a point that seems good, though you have clear signs of price improvement) but sometimes these things happen with the emotion.

All I can say is that I cleared now almost all my principals. Due to that i'm still running with a fairly amount of 'free coins' worth a sum multiple amounts my initial investment  ;D

good profits,you can share your strategy with us, you only work with exchanges?. If so I was quite impressed by your winnings you should have something like a crystal ball that tells you when to sell and when to buy.

we can get a high profit through trading as you and i think trading  is the best way to make a big profit there is a lot of people are earning bitcoin in huge amount with fast  through trading and i think that trading have too much less risk.

The best way to get profit in trades is follow news and surf with whales!

Totally agree. It is totally same as lottery. Can never be sure that coin will die in some days or not. For star, just some people pumb and dumb and some of them maybe get some profit but I'm sure most of altcoin traders loss.

Congratulations on nice profit, you had balls to get into trading with 500 euros, that is a lot of money. Trading is a risky thing, and your profit on that is amazing for me, I don't have courage for that. I trade with 10 $ maximum, I'm not confident in myself for something like that.

it is far from a lottery or gambling or whatever unpredictable thing you have in mind. there are a lot of experienced traders making a lot more money each month that is a lot bigger than 200 euros and they do it without thinking it is a gamble. otherwise they coulnd't have been making consistent profit.

You have a very good success rate, honestly I am also looking for ways on how to make consistent money in trading.. If possible can you share you method here so you can also help me to make easy money like you do, I am sure the others are also interested.
