This means you'd get about ~10khash/sec for 1 year. So you'd waste an amazon instance to earn about $10 over the course of a year.

You would have to really play the market and make sure the value of coins you can mine is always more than the cost of renting servers

I know University of Illinois had a service back at their supercomputing center a few years ago, not sure if they still offer it
